“We went to try this restaurant today. We ordered the fried mushrooms which we love but aren't easy to find in our area. Ranch was homemade and tasted great. One of us ordered the special which was rose pasta. It came with a hearty piece of garlic toast and a salad which was beautiful. One of us ordered the sandwich with avocado and apple. It came on a very tasty baguette toasted well. Also got the pasta salad as a side instead of chips...it was delicious. The sandwich combo was about equal to subway prices but much much tastier. We felt like we got a great value for our money ...maybe the person that reviewed that they were pricey weren't from our area. The sandwich and side was in the $12 range and I believe it was the most expensive one on the menu. The burgers looked to be in the $10-14 range. They had a black bean burger on menu as well. On menu was also a Mexican street corn salad which I might try next time.“
“For those who say Marshall Restaurant needs to be updated:This restaurant is not a tourist attraction. We visited it on an early Sunday morning. We watched the town's church people gather and laugh and pick on each other in their church attire. They talked across tables and drank their coffee and asked the waitress about her job search and seemed disappointed when they found out she had another job.I go into detail to say that nothing about Marshall restaurant needs to change. This is a glimpse into a world that almost doesn't exist anymore. This is a small town with what's clearly a type of community that 90% of its visitors will never truly know.If you visit Marshall Restaurant love it for what it is. And if you are intentionally looking for small town vibe or getaway I thoroughly suggest you visit on an early Sunday morning for breakfast.“
“We went to Red River Cafe near their closing time, and they were so friendly and welcoming and told us to come in! The lady that waited on us was phenomenal, she found out it was my husbands birthday and she brought cake with a candle and sang happy birthday and made our visit special! The food was amazing, the service was amazing, we will definitely be back!!“
“This place rocks! A special delivery of 30+ Jeeps and 1 Dodge Charger rolled into Ryan’s last Saturday for a Saving Ryan’s benefit meal. The owners were very accommodating and extremely appreciative for the business after having a bad experience with former employees almost bringing it under. The steaks were extra delicious as well as baked potatoes, salads, and appetizers. Ryan’s seats 175 and can handle big groups for sure! The desserts are out of this world and homemade. If you’re wandering through the Ozarks and stumble upon Leslie, AR be sure to visit downtown Ryan’s Main Street Bar & Grill. Best steak around!“
“We stumbled across this place while traveling to see the ('24) eclipse, and are extremely glad we did! The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and we made a few friends while there. It is officially on our list of places to return to. Be sure to get a cinnamon roll!“
“Really fun old fashioned place to stop on vacation. I had my first Flavor Burst ice cream cone in about 20 years! There are pool tables and arcade games in the back. The young women working were friendly and brought our food out to us, which was nice of them. Didn't love the onion rings--I'd get something else. Also I went with a vegetarian friend who ordered the "vegetable sandwich"--be aware that means it's just a hamburger bun without the hamburger. There are no vegetables except the lettuce/tomato you'd get on a burger but no patty. I'd still recommend popping into this nostalgic place for sure though!“
