I rarely give 5 stars, but this little dinner is an amazing place. Food was amazing, the atmosphere was very comforting, and the staff was extremely good and helpful.

Was my favorite Mountain Home restaurant, but after the wretched service and terrible food I received today I will never return. My husband and I arrived at 11:20. We placed our order of pad thai and hot teas. A small tea pot with tepid water was served - just enough for the two of us to have a half a cup. Called the waiter over and was told sorry, no more tea pots. Asked him to at least put more water in the tea pot on the table. More tepid water was served. We did not see him again for 45 minutes. The restaurant was half full. Two tables who arrived after us were served. When our meal arrived it was cold. I returned mine and asked for hot food. Almost 15 minutes later my plate was returned. It had been microwaved. The plate was warm but the food was cold. The spring roll was a disgusting soggy mess. I asked the waiter what was going on. I was told they were very busy with take out orders. Obviously at the expense of those of us trying to dine in. What a huge inconvenience we must be, what with wanting beverage service and warm food. Never again.

I've been here an hr. My fork has been on my plate 15 minutes- clear sign I'm done eating! No service. The Pad Thais noodles weren't cooked correctly it was nooot a good

Went out to eat there this evening The wait was very long for everyone. There weren't many tables occupied but it seem like they did have a lot of takeout orders. We waited one hour and four minutes before we got our food. We saw two people leave after they ordered, told the waitress to please cancel the order they had no more time when our food finally got there it appeared that it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while. I've worked at a restaurant, and could see that .. Anyhow, the waitress was the worst waitress. I could remember having she never came back to the table. also, there was a bug in the bottom of My my husbands iced tea. We tracked the waitress down and told her about it. She took the ice tea and never came back with another one finally saw her again and asked her if there was an anyway she could get us another tea. luckily we had a lot to talk about so I had plenty of time to sit there with our soda and tea and wait as we saw many frustrated customers and like I said some of them even leaving the food was just OK definitely would not be going back anytime soon. I'm sure I had this type of bad service before but it's been so long ago. The food was not very good. I am frankly surprised because I've been told this was a good place to go, although that was several months ago.

Waitress was nice upon ordering ...2 out of 3 of us ordered spicy food and the food was great ....only 5 tables of people and we sat there the whole 45 mins with our small glasses on the edge of table and empty!! I have waited tables so I'm pretty understanding!! She never came back to the table after taking our order! Spicy food is great until you can't get a drink! 2 waitress and 5 tables.....why couldn't we get a refill?? So again...the food is good but if I come back I will get it to go!!!!!

If you have a limited lunch hour I definitely do not suggest going to eat here, after being at a table for 15 minutes we still did not get acknowledgment, when the waitress finally came over we were given menus and did not get asked what we would like to drink. Another 10 minutes they came back and we asked if it would be possible to get food to go in 30 minutes, waitress said she would need to ask, another 10 minutes she comes back to say no it would not be possible. We left period.
