“Little home cooked burgers/fries in a small town...hamburger was juicy and the fries were fresh-cut...was a wonderful meal! Limited parking but worth the walk! ?”
“TL;DR: Amazing southern country home cooking with friendly staff and owner, would highly recommend-The owner, Anita, was just about the sweetest lady I've ever met, along with her staff who were just about as kind and helpful as her. The food and company remind me of nothing so much as going to my grandmother's house for dinner, and the food is just as good.I went there with my Dad for the solar eclipse, and meant to only stop for some cake and coffee while waiting for the eclipse, but the cake was so amazing we had to try the food too. We ended up both having meatloaf, with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans, and taking home two slices of cake. The meatloaf was amazing, melt in your mouth and full of flavor. The greens beans were simple and all the more delicious for it, and served with rich buttery mash potatoes. The cake was perfect, in basically every way. If you stop here, you must get a slice! My dad had jalapeño cornbread and found himself loving it despite not like jalapeños. I had a warm bread roll, which was very good as it was a warm bread roll. The sweet ice tea was perfect, too. Overall everything was wonderful and I can't recommend it enough. Honestly, even if you have to go out of your way to stop here, it'd be worth it.However, the best part of lunch here was the people. Everyone was so sweet and kind, and really very kind and helpful. I'm on crutches, so during the eclipse, one of the waiters brought out chairs for me and my Dad to sit on to watch the eclipse, which was very appreciated. Everyone took the time to say hello and chat a bit, and was generally great company. 10/10, one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant.Parking: Lots of parking on a gravel lot.Kid-friendliness: Seems like a great place to take your family with kids, although I didn't see anything kid specific.Wheelchair accessibility: I went in on crutches and had zero issues. It seems like, aside from a gravel parking lot, it is very accessible. No steps, handrails in the bathroom and very roomy.”
“Enjoyed the down-to-earth atmosphere that offers home-style cooking on Friday nights with a ukulele band.Kid-friendliness: Kids still need pie after a child’s plate.”
“My first time here no bathroom so if you got to go it's not happening here lol but Nice people and decent foodParking: Concrete parking right in front of the building the rest of it is a dirt lot”
“Exceptional coffee shop – not only for its affordable and delectable food but also for the incredibly friendly staff. The space is impeccably clean and inviting, creating an atmosphere that elevates your experience. A must-visit!”
“Valentine's Day dinner, saw them, and figured we would give them a try. Being in an 18-wheeler, it was nice to find somewhere different that we could get out, stretch, and have a nice fresh home cooked style meal. Doesn't look like much but wow was it well worth every bit. Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful waitresses. Located inside the Phillips 66. Would definitely stop by again. Very reasonable prices, and large portions.”
“The seating is always a problem.... really almost makes us choose somewhere else to eat. Long tabled but people struggle to get through the very narrow, very narrow walk area to get back to the buffet to get more food. Not comfortable at all. We try and go after the lunch time.Wheelchair accessibility: Very tight inside for a wheelchair unless you went a slower time of day.”
“We stopped for Sunday brunch and had an wonderful experience. The staff sent us the menu ahead of time and were great with communication. The food was all locally sourced, super fresh and homemade! The ingredients were organic and no vegetable/canola oil used! The portion sizes were perfect. The coffee was delicious with some local honey.Brunch menu:Quiche wild boar or native mushroomComes with homemade sourdough bread, a locally produced jam, a bowl of fresh local organic fruit, coffee or tea.Hand piesBison and cabbage or cabbage, onion, and mushroom. Comes with a sourdough biscuit and a side salad of local greens and veggies. The staff provided a tour of the Beard and Lady Inn, apothecary and provided details on the history of the incredible building from the 1800s. We bought some locally made calendula salve. This was a memorable and unique experience and we would highly recommend it!”
“Omgosh we dinned here during spring break. I tried the Etoufee w/ Catfish and some Alligator Amazingly delicious! This spot was warm inviting, with a friendly staff. If ya’ll have a taste of Cajun and have never been this place will not disappoint. –”
“We were visiting Alma from out of state and I must say that this coffee shop blows every one of the ones from our “big” city out of the water. The service was phenomenal and friendly. Each person we interacted with was friendly and fun! The coffee sleeves made by local elementary school children were adorable and we loved the personal touch. AND the coffees were excellent. Thank you. Will make this a stop next time we are visiting Alma”
“Met a friend here for lunch because it was halfway for both of us and matched our plans for later. Walking up we were unsure but gave it a chance anyway. Once inside we were happy we did! The smell of the food was amazing and the people were very friendly. We arrived just as they changed over from breakfast to lunch so they allowed us a choice of either side of the menu. She had the burger and I had the best Phili Sandwich I've ever experienced. It was a nice laid back atmosphere and clear they were still making renovations that were focus on the interior and making their way to the outside. I highly encourage everyone to give this diamond in the rough an try! I will happily make the drive from Fort Smith for this again.”
“Had to make a trip to Alma this morning after church and stopped in for breakfast. The food was delicious. Well prepared and seasoned perfectly. The service was great. Every member of the staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely be coming back to try other menu items! Good job!!!”
“Last time we'd been here prior to this visit, the experience was horrible BUT they have a new owner so we came in to give them a try. The buffet is the way to go! The lasagna was so cheesy and good! They have a lot of pizza options, but none of us were huge fans of the crust, but the extras for the buffet make this perfect for even the pickiest eaters. They have lots of options for salads. The spaghetti is good and they have meatballs you can add if interested. The cookie dough pizza is also really good. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The dining areas were clean but are kind of dated, and the tables are all super short compared to the length of the booth, which made them somewhat uncomfortable.”
“Small town of Mulberry AR. This place is a little on the small side, but makes the best breakfast burritos around. The owner is very kind and friendly, if you want a couple of dozen donuts you will need to call in your order really early that morning or the day before. He doesn't like waste, he usually only makes just enough for his usual customers. Great place to get your sugar rush in the mornings.”
“This place is called Reds Place now. I attended a private wedding here so I can't tell you anything about it, except that the decor is awesome! Tons of collectibles to look at, looks like they might have all the things to have a wonderful venue. Very rustic feeling that's nicely done. They had an outdoor seating area to accommodate smoking and vaping. The parking is in a fenced-in grass field with plenty of room. Recommended calling for details.”
“Quick service, delicious food and clean restaurant. The best onion rings around. Huge and homemade. Perfectly toasted hamburger buns. Very reasonable prices.”
“These were THE BEST chicken livers I have ever had in my whole life!!! I ordered a large. The box was almost over flowing! So hot and fresh. The chicken was hot and crisp???...A super yummy lunch! Awesome service....very friendly employees. We travel a lot....this is by far the best Loves and Chester's we've experienced! ?♥️”
“There was a young man working today and he is also the person that I had contact. When I walked in he was finishing a transaction and preparing for his next customer, me. Once he noticed I was walking to the Subway side he immediately acknowledged me by saying that he would be right with me. He was efficient, pleasant and someone who offered me guidance with my order. I didn’t get his name but he was a young man with darker hair and potentially of Hispanic descent. Too often we take the time to say when things go wrong but don’t even notice when things go right. Well this young guy can have my word that if he desires, he can accomplish anything! Thanks for the best subway lunch yet!!!”
“Little Indian restaurant in a truck stop with great foodI see a lot of negative reviews against this place and most of them are from people who only leave negative reviews and have zero positive reviews posted so I want to assure anyone looking into this place that it is delicious authentic Indian food.I love this little truck stop restaurant. Their food is amazing and they are friendly and helpful every time I visit.Vegetarian options: As with most authentic Indian restaurants, these guys have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. These guys are very understanding and helpful with my dietary restrictions(vegan).”
“Greatly appreciated One perticular worker i waited for an hour for food after arriving even still he appolagize to me and made it right he knows who he is thanks to him i'll be coming back.”
“So, it's the great Taco Bell flavors that we all love. But it seems like the line cooks here always make orders that look just like the picture. How cool is that! Oh, but kiosk ordering without menus...seriously...”
“My husband and I stopped in for some lunch Monday, November 14th, 2022 a little after 11 am. First thing you notice when you walk in was the amazing smell of the smoked meat? The young lady in the kitchen was on her own as waitress and cook. She handled it amazingly! We had the 1/2 loaded nachos as an app and they were delicious! The pork and brisket are my favorite out of the sliders I ordered. My husband loved his brisket burger with the sweet bacon jam and the handcut fries tasted great! Definitely recommend this place!”

“HOLY CALZONE BATMAN! Just driving through minding my own business looking for a place to eat and we stumble across this little joint. Go in order a calzone and a stromboli thinking how about a calzone you know normal size, it'd fit on a old school Grandma paper plate, boy were we wrong this is probably one of the best calzones I've ever had the staff was absolutely amazing and walking through the door was just welcoming from the start. I urge anyone who's coming through and they're hungry jump off the interstate run a few miles into town and go hit this place you'll thank me later!”
