“I love how the staff makes me feel like I'm family when I arrive. Our server even remembers us and is always beaming with a smile, eager to hear the latest news in our lives, which always brightens our day. They notice when we need a refill and ask if ensure we have everything we need to enjoy the experience. Not to mention, the food is homecooked, hand breaded, and never dissapoints. We really enjoy stopping by whenever we're in the area, you should too.“

“What a great small town eatery, local staff that you can see have such a great relationship with their customers! Everyone knows everyone and even if it's your first time here, there's such an air of familiarity that you can't help but feel welcome and at home with a warmth and sense of belonging. The food was great, and I still have many more menu items I'm anticipating to try very soon! The bar and the decor give it such a "back home" feel and the warmth and kindness of the staff really pull together in what is truly a great experience that I will personally be enjoying again and again!“

“First time Walk-On’s diners!Today my husband and I decided to stop in for lunch and to catch a few March Madness basketball games - needless to say it was packed! BUT - our initial seating service (drinks and order) was fast (but not rushed), the food was fresh and hot, and the service during the meal was consistent and with a warm smile from the kind server the entire meal….we will definitely be back!!“

“I REALLY, REALLY ENJOYED the band called Son’s of Turner last week as they were outstanding with their performance and I will definitely be back to see them again….like WOW!! The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious too….the only downfall was the wait staff took 20 minutes or more to come take my order after I was seated by the hostess and I had to get up and go ask the hostess to send wait staff to my table.“

“If you’ve never been to Prairie Grove Arkansas, you need to go. Hometown living at its finest. We had the pleasure of eating at Mel’s Diner. It’s as awesome as it gets, extremely clean and amazing food. You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Orders cooked fresh as you order.“
