“There was an unscheduled group of Arkansas State Park Retirees that converged on them unannounced and the staff did an amazing job handling the group and getting us in and out. There turned out to be 18 of us but no one knew ahead of time how many would show, so we couldn't tell the staff the expected number. This didn't phase them at all!! They pulled together some tables and got the group in and out in an amazingly short time. (I might add that it was straight up noon when we got there) I was very impressed with how well they handled this unplanned group. I applaud their customer service skills!!”

They allowed a larger reservation, were accommodating to diet needs, and even helped create a dessert for the group! Very impressed… everyone left with full bellies and excellent experiences! “First I need to say the burgers are great! Love the use of Talo!!! Today I witnessed an amazing act of kindness waitin on my burgers. I watched the nice lady at the register tell a troop in uniform her meal was on them today. I also watched the next troop in line (the ranking officer) be told the same. He then pulled out $20 and put it in rhe tip jar. You have got love stuff like this! Thanks for what you do!”

“Very generous portions, prices VERY REASONABLE, friendly, helpful service. My husband had the gumbo and enjoyed it; there was so much we took half of it home. I had fried chicken livers dinner w/ choice of 2 sides, hush puppies and a deep-fried roll. My sides were red beans and rice (YUMM!) and green beans which were tasty. The chicken livers were delicious which I dipped in their sweet chili sauce. Everything was good but the STARS, for us, were the fried green tomatoes and the deep fried roll which was light as a feather. We ordered a half dozen rolls to go and made a midnight feast of the outstanding fried green tomatoes we had boxed up and those soft, airy rolls!”

“Just returned from eating at Old Bank. Food was good and server was very attentive. My complaint is that when I pay with cash I am always charged a credit card fee. I should not have to remind the server to make sure the fee is removed. Also, the small change (coins) due back from payment were not given, only the remaining dollars. So today, I was out an additional $.67 cents on my breakfast order of $10.44. What gives? I realize it's less than a dollar but it's the principal of the thing . . .”

The owner is the sweetest lady who’s won multiple awards and competitions for baking - you can see those achievements near the bathroom. Cookies, delicious. Scones, delicious. She will even heat them up for you. I stopped here on my way home from Petit Jean State Park and it made the trip perfect. 10/10 will stop again even tho I’m from KS.”

“I went in and ate I got the pho with crab shrimp and pork in it and it was absolutely amazing!! The waitress was real sweet and ready to serve as soon as I got in there. “So I pulled into the TA off exit 101 on the 40 in Arkansas. Saw them set up across the street, and thought it was pretty cool that they legit had a whole pizza oven sitting on a trailer. So I decided to check them out. Glad I did. Pizza was fresh, the sauce was amazing. Only thing I would say is order extra cheese. Great value, friendly service, and good food. Hit the trifecta here. he said that they're here every Saturday”

My parents own a food bank called Arkansas River Valley Cherokee Church Outreach, and we wanted to reward our hard-working volunteers with a Volunteer Appreciation Ice Cream Social. “I came in this evening amd was met with a very irritated and angry employee (Brenna Hudnall she later stated) There was no greeting or anything from either of the 2 employees. while waiting to tell her my sandwich, because again, she did not speak to me, she looked at me like I was stupid a shook her head at me as to ask what I wanted. I began to tell her my sandwich and she began making it all the while asking what I wanted with attitude. I just looked over at my friend in surprise because I have been here hundreds of times and have never experienced this kind of negativity. I paid for my food and went to sit down, once I took a bite I realized my sandwich did not have cheese on it so I took it back to be remade. When I approached the counter to let her know there was no cheese she asked "would you like me to remake it?" my response was yes that would be great, she then rolls her eyes and began to remake it with major attitude and throwing tomatoes, and then very nastily stated "oh, and no worries, we got your SWISS CHEESE on there for you." I then asked her what her name was because I have full intention of contacting her manager. She asked me why and I let her know that she was being very rude and hateful and she began to yell at me and tell me go ahead make a review, call my manager to which I let her know I will.”

Humongous selection of coffees from cold to hot coffees. Got there to late to get any Cinnabons but that was ok we tried more than our share of other pasteries they had up for offer.”

“I love sumos don’t get me wrong me and my boyfriend go in there just about once every week. I’ve enjoyed my experience every time, food is always amazing and delicious (also plenty to take home and enjoy later) but I have to say I’ve had the same server the last three times I’ve went in there (Jayda) her attitude is honestly awful I never say anything but the last two times I didn’t tip due to lack of service and rolling her eyes the whole time. Well today she didn’t want to take us for dine in hibachi so she had our host lie and tell us we could only dine in on the other side. I felt something was off bc the look I got when I walked in. I sat there and watched all the host and servers walking around. I seen one server I’m unsure of her name mouth “did you tell them no” then I got irratated. Finally as my boyfriend was asking what the issue was I asked to speak to the manager. Her face dropped almost like she knew she was about to get caught. The manager (Mr Rickey who I have to say is honestly amazing and really shows he cares for the restaurant and the people) came up asked what was wrong and I told him we were told we couldn’t dine in and he was confused. He said he would get us menus even if we didn’t tip it wasn’t the problem that all that matters is we eat and have a good time. He walked us to our seats we sat down and Jayda came up no smile and said what do yall want to drink. I wanted to laugh and ask what her issue was but all I cared about was getting my food before they closed. She didn’t check on us not once. She kept her distance bc she knew we told the manager what had happened. Mr. Ricky came up to us again and apologized I told him again in better words what really happened and he couldn’t believe it. He checked on us gave us a discount (that he really didn’t have to, but we appreciate it) finally we get to the end and she walked up sat the check down and walked away. We payed and on our way out the door was the host standing from the other side of the room walking to her car. She turned around and went to talk to us and I asked honestly if she had just seen all that and she said yes. She was trying to figure out what was going on and when she did she couldn’t believe it. I’m sure the situation is getting handled but all to say every time I come in there she is that way and it’s no server hospitality. If you don’t like the job and what you have to do maybe you should look for something else. Anyways everything besides that was amazing. And we appreciate Mr. Ricky for stepping in and helping. We will be back but we won’t have the same server.”
