“I dropped by Imago Dei last night since I'm visiting family in town. I was a student at Harding about four years ago, so my kneejerk option for coffee is MO, but I decided to branch out this time and I do not regret it.Full disclaimer, I was a speciality single-origin coffee roaster and barista in Alabama for two years, so my expectations for good coffee are EXTREMELY high. I can always tell when the coffee beans are not fresh, the milk is scalded, when too much flavoring is used, etc. Imago Dei got everything PERFECT. The crema on my 12oz latte was absolutely gorgeous and I always appreciate latte art. They used a "honey-roasted Guatemalan" for their espresso roast. I love the nutty, chocolate tasting notes of a Gautemalan origin and was thrilled that the espresso was prepared perfectly and smoothly and complimented the natural sweetness of the whole milk. I had also gotten one of their seasonal fall flavors, a sweet-spice flavor (I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me), and I was very happy that the flavor was not overwhelming and just a perfect amount for size I ordered. (My biggest pet peeve is when coffee drinks are so sweet with flavor I cannot taste the actual coffee. I have thrown many costly drinks because of this).Their presentation was also meticulous and impressive. I was expecting my latte placed beside me, *maybe* with a saucer (that's really a 50/50 chance), but instead received an entire tray. I didn't order an ice water, but recieved one anyways, which I appreciated since it helped me cleanse my palette every couple of minutes to enjoy my latte with renewed taste. There was no coffee running down the side of my cup. That extra bit of thought made me feel very special.I went on a Friday night and noticed that for a while that I was the only customer. While there was a sporting event happening on campus, it made me a bit sad. I know it's close to campus and I would have loved coming as a student, however I do admit the trek past Gin Creek and across Beebe Capps would have made me reconsider- especially since the visibility isn't great after dark. I really hope that more Harding students will go to Imago Dei to study (maybe I just came on a lull night), because I think it's a worthy and impressive business in the Searcy area.“
“Great seasonal options, reasonably priced, lots of options to choose from, comfy place to sit inside.Kid-friendliness: Fun place to take kids but there is a mailing room and a lot of little products they sell so I'd keep an eye on little ones. Sometimes they have coloring sheets to take.Wheelchair accessibility: There is parking right outside the store and a little ramp to the door.“
“Rise & Grind serves my favorite coffee! My “usual” is definitely The Grind with oat milk—the perfect taste! I also like to ask them to steam cinnamon into the milk. The staff is friendly and attentive. The owner, Lisa, is my fav!! She always remembers I like The Grind—but a little less sweet—so I don’t even have to ask for half the syrup pumps anymore. ????“
“This is a quirky place, put comfortable and fun. The dumplings were very good, and there were games, and music being played on vinyl. Recommended if you like offbeat dumplings. My partner insisted we go back a second time while we were in town. The snack size is plenty for a light meal.“
“Absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops, I've been going to all of Stu's locations for a couple years now and they beat Starbucks coffee by a LONG shot. They're better in price, customer service, and quality of drinks. 10/10 will recommend.“
“I have always loved going to Stu’s and today reminded me why. We pulled up as they were closing and they still served us. I even told them we could come back on Monday so we wouldn’t ruin their routine but they insisted. Such great employees and always so kind! Plus their coffee is always the best!“
“This is a good place to sit and drink coffee. It is adjacent to a college campus, so students are the main patronage. The coffee was good, but I drink only black coffee, so I didn't try the specialties. I would return, given the chance.“
“This is Starbucks on a clege campus. Larger than most. Seating is geared toward gathering and community. Very friendly staff. Menu options are limited. Parking is street parking, so depending on time of day you may not be able to find a spot close to the store. But, there is great walkability from the center of campus..“
“Probably my favorite coffee place now. I absolutely love the Triple 7 and it's pretty cool that they can make any coffee drink into one now. Their muffin tops are good but could probably be warmed up a little. Lol. There's usually a line but it moves fast and they offer a rewards program that I seem to get more out of than most rewards programs and it's super simple. ?“
“The workers here are absolute angels, my car overheated & I was stuck in their parking lot for around 3 hours. They were more than helpful and gave me a delicious free coffee 2 hours after close. ❤️ If I could give 10/5 stars I would.“
“Had an excellent latte there. Perhaps I'll share experience with the food after I try a few items.Nice thing about this place is the roominess. Lots of space to spread out. Tables are big enough that you can have coffee with friends without being elbow to elbow. In other words, it's not like every cramped Starbuck's and clone stores you may be used to.“
“Great choice for a coffee stop. Great coffee, cute cookies, fast service. Lyndsee is an amazing and beautiful barista with obvious experience in both hospitality and coffee. Her other baristas are great too. Definitely recommend stopping by and saying hi. Make sure you tip them Super Fat- they deserve it.“
