You’re definitely paying for the atmosphere here. We waited an extremely long time to even get our dinners that someone came up to us and offered us dessert and we told them we hadn’t even gotten our meals yet. Very small portions for what you pay for. I ordered the steak mac & cheese and asked for my steak medium rare. When they originally brought the plates they didn’t know which one was what because my friend ordered the same thing, but medium well and they weren’t marked. However, both were cooked to the same temperature so I sent mine back. And then the very rude older lady manager with white hair brought me back the plate and then proceeded to ask me if that wasn’t to my liking. And I said no, I ordered medium rare and she said that it was. It was not even close. It was medium well at best closer to well done. She then very rudely says well we’ll have to make another one. Then when they bring me back the plate, it’s missing the vegetables. And I originally ordered asparagus, but they didn’t have it and didn’t tell me until they brought the food. So then I waited another 15 minutes just to get the vegetables. This manager was so unprofessional in the way she handled this as if it was an inconvenience that they got the temperature wrong and I was asking for it to be fixed. I can tell from other reviews that they have a habit of overcooking food. The only silver lining is our waitress was sweet as pie and was very apologetic for everything that was happening. Food was OK, but not worth the price that I paid for everything and the hassle I had while I was there.

My wife and I made our first visit to The Vic Bar + Kitchen and had And AMAZING experience! The food was incredible and the Staff, even more so! Our server Kiki did a perfect job and the Assistant Manager, Bonnie, was one of the friendliest people We've ever met! Just an AMAZING experience!

I'm going try to make this quick and too the point. 3 of the 9 of us ladies ordered well done burgers. 2 of the burgers were as black and hard as charcoal on the bottom,hard as rocks!! I always order my burgers well done so I know that it's possible to grill a well done burger properly, additionally, I'm a caterer and a excellent cook. When the waitress saw them she even commented saying, "they really burnt those suckers,didn't they"? She sent the manager to our table. What I'm accustomed to is this. #1the manager introducing themselves. #2 the manager doing an inquiry of the situation. #3 the manager listening to your feedback. #4 and ,finally the manager asking what they can do to correct the problem. Well NONE of that happened! She basically came over and began to clear our plates,assuming the role of a waitress, instead of a manager. When she tried to take my plate I stopped her by holding my plate down with my knife which forced her to listen to me as I professionally articulated my dissatisfaction. There was NO apology nor was there any offer to rectify the situation. Needless to say the last night of our girls trip to the beautiful state of Arizona was ruined! Might I add that we were the minority in the establishment. My suggestion to the Vic is that you incorporate a diversity and inclusion component in your training. It is most needed! Oh! by the way, when ordering a burger do not ask for it to be cut in half...there's a $1.50 charge for that. Who ever heard of such? It would have been nice if the waitress would've mentioned that when the request was made. I'm just saying ?.

What a beautiful setting! The Verrado area is such a unique setting tucked in the West valley. The drive up to the restaurant offers views of the golf course, beautiful white/great rocks and grape vines, very pretty. Not to mention when you get to the restaurant at the top and look around to see across the valley, you can see the football stadium from here! We dined on the patio, what a nice environment. The service was friendly and attentive. Fish tacos, fish and chips and burgers were ordered and all were pleased! The fish did have quite a bit of breading, so keep that in mind if you prefer light breading. The burger and fries were excellent. Fish tacos were pretty good, a bit dry though. Overall, definitely recommend and will return next time I'm in the area.

Had a great dinner for the 8 of us. The drive up gave some great ambience. No availability on the patio, but inside was quite something. Perhaps a bit noisey. We had the burrata with watermelon to start. This was a change from the normal oil and balsamic I would normally have. I had the gnocci with wild mushrooms and pecorino. Fabulous dish. The fried doughnuts at the end were decadent, but I would do it again. Little doughnut balls with sugar with a bit of liquid sugar.

The food is INSANELY overpriced. Very small quantities for extremely high prices… I want so badly to love this place because the location is so cool, but that’s the only thing they have going for them. $38 for a 1/3 serving of chicken alfredo. Waiter only came around when we asked other servers to send him. I’ve been trying this place on and off since it opened, hoping they would get it together… but it’s just another disappointment in Verrado.

Horrible experience. We were told after ordering our dishes that certain items weren’t available. Then were told nevermind they do have them. Then my dish was forgotten and they were out of what I originally ordered. I then ordered the chicken and it came out undercooked. My son’s cheeseburger had a big piece of plastic in it. We will never go back.

Food was average. The wait time was very long. The service was even more terrible. Our server forgot our fries twice, didn't fill drinks up, forgot extra napkins. You're paying for the scenery; which is very nice. However, we won't be going back anytime soon, if ever. Overrated and overpriced.

High prices here and small portions but a beautiful area to sit outside and enjoy a hill top location. Management has changed frequently. Sometimes it seems that things are chaotic. But hopefully things will get better.
