Went in a half hour before they closed and did not hesitate to serve me. Luckily it wasn't very busy. The food was great, just moved here from Massachusetts and glad I found this spot so I can still eat curry and oxtail. Staff was really polite and hard working.

We are visiting the Phoenix area and wanted something special for my birthday dinner. Ocean Blue did not disappoint. Raven was handling the front of the house by herself but did a great job, even rearranging tables for our group of 6. The drinks were tropical and tasty and the food was spicy and flavorful. My mother was nervous about spice but the curry shrimp was perfect for her. A great experience with both food and service.

Not sure how the food the taste. The table that got here before us food was cold we have been waiting for an hour and a half still no food.. she came to us once saying it will be ready in 10 minutes.. the food came out 40 minutes later.. the place is small and very slow and people was standing around waiting to get waiting on or to get their food... not a big fan of this place.. i was trying to support black owned.. but not this one anymore.. salmon was dry.. cabbage was luck warm.. one cook and 2 waitress

Incredible experience,Authentic Jamaican Cuisine, This has been the very best restaurant I have been too, I had the oxtail with Rice and Beans with Yellow Plantain and the curry chicken. I couldn’t believe the flavors, is to Die for.Very Constable Clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming,Beer and other drinks are served specially The Mojito is a must try.Easy on and off I-10 just a few blocks away.Parking was excellent and spacious.I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners Bouka, this is a family run business and have been in business for approximately 13 years. Thank you for all the attention and service you guys Rock!!

Lovely carribean themed restaurant, the staff was very friendly, even the chef was. The food was delicious as well, they did mix up my sidedishes but they were still very good to eat. Would recommend this place to eat and drink.

The food was so good and I love that they give you a lot! They do not skimp. The flavors are on point and it reminded me of home. Service is a little slow but I understand when it comes to cooking Caribbean food, it takes time. Overall, I really enjoyed eating there and whenever I'm back in that Phoenix area I will definitely go back.

First time I have been to Ocean Blue Caribbean Restaurant, and I was somewhat disappointed. The few good points about my dinning experience was how refreshing the mango ginger drink was. I'm such a huge fan of ginger and mango, and that combination was impeccable. The beef patties were really tasty, the crust was flakey and the beef was well seasoned. I have had better curry goat from other restaurants, this restaurant wasn't as tasteful compared like others. Another aspect of the dining that was very off putting was the wait time. We waited more than an hour to get our food, and I noticed a customer with a carry out order waited 45 mins in the restaurant to get their food. The whole long waiting experience really kills the appetite, they need to work on that. I did like how clean the restaurant, and welcoming the staff were to the customers.

Worst stew chicken I have ever had, no flavor and too much peppers and onions as well the chicken seemed dehydrated. It looked shriveled. I would say that the mango ginger drink was refreshing, the beef patty was perfect, plantains were nice and I enjoyed the dumplings. The wait was about 1 hour and 30 mins. Now we know better than to go there with empty stomachs because you would be waiting forever. Not sure why the wait was that long because it did not seem busy. Even for persons picking up, they waited about 45mins. Atmosphere was chill and they had all the old island reggae music. I did not get photos because I was ready to eat by time the food came and could not think on anything else until I dug into the chicken and was disappointed.
