I think I just ordered the wrong thing, because it was too sweet for me and tasted just like melted ice cream. EXTREMELY DELICIOUS, but I should have ordered the Lavender Latte--my cousin's drink, which was a perfect blend of coffee, fat (milk), sweetness, and herbal (lavender) flavor. Perfect for those who actually like the taste of black coffee. Pastries taste FRESH as hell, highly reccomend anything topped with fruit.It's very nicely decorated, but feels very gentrified. Of course, I am not native to the area, so maybe it's just my pretentious Phoenix perspective clouding my judgement. They played decent smooth jazz/bossa nova music at a reasonable volume, and the stools weren't uncomfortable. Great place for people watching, staring out the window, reading, or otherwise spending time quietly with yourself or a friend.Service was phenominal. Just one woman out front running the show and staying composed and on top of things. All while being polite and attentive! As well as tolerant of my and my cousin's stupid questions. I hope she gets paid enough.

WOW!! Absolutely the best coffee house in Flagstaff!! FRESH, HOMEMADE pastries right out of the oven!! Best chai latte in town! Has a cozy fireplace, couches and cute decor. Service is always top notch!

The pastry's were okay. We ordered a chocolate croissant that was average but the chocolate inside was not melted and was like bar that was kind of hard to bit into. We even ordered a peach star pastry that was a little hard or old but it tasted okay. We also ordered a pecan maple pastry that was okay but nothing above average. The service was interesting the drip coffee was out and they had to ask if we wanted the coffee to be brewed. But the drip coffee was also average. The guy who took our order was very nice and cleaned off the outside table so we could sit outside with our dog. On the pictures the place seemed bigger than it was. The bathroom was out of toilet paper

CHC is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The coffee is good, the baked goods selection is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming and inviting. They have a small store in the back corner with unique merchandise and gifts. It's worth stopping in for visit.

We never miss an opportunity to come to Cedar when we are in Flagstaff. The pastries are excellent and all the staff are friendly and extremely welcoming. It's a charming and cute spot. Well worth the calories every time. We have had almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed everything.

It is locally owned by a great family and has a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I love having a special place where I can go and relax by myself or have one on one time with my kids.
