We have an espresso machine at home and got really into good quality espresso beans. After lots of research, it was amazing to find out how important it is to find a bag of beans that has been roasted within the last 30 days. After 30 days, it starts to lose its freshness (even though it will still be good). Most bags just say best by and NOT roasted on. If your bag doesn't say roasted on, it's older than you think. I went here for a Coffee 101 class hosted by Andrew who was AMAZING! The class was fun and very informative. I'm not sure what I was expecting but from the class but it definitely blew my mind. We learned about the roasting processes, how to taste coffee, how to properly prepare (water type, best or more preferred brewing methods). It was an hour of fun. Really nice space! It's very spacious with a variety of seating options. The menu is lacking, there was nothing in terms of food or drink that I wanted to order. I guess that's more my fault because I'm not a coffee drinker. The pastries looked to be from Noble Bread, which I normally love Noble Bread, but these pastries didn't look very appetizing to me.
