Despite the restaurant being overwhelmingly empty, we were sat right next to someone eating by themselves. We were in very close proximity to this person, which seemed incredibly unnecessary for a mostly empty restaurant. It took a very long time to get water, as we had received our drinks and our bread and still waited a very long time for water. The food was fantastic. All the wait staff were above outstanding. The prices were a tad bit expensive (the $25 crab leg was the size of a half dollar). But overall, Nineteen 86 is an example of truly fine dining!
