They are consistent and I know that I can count on them for a quick delicious meal. My personal favorites are the carne asada taco and the carne asada fries. I’ve tried so many places over the years and always find myself always coming back here. Be sure to grab some of their green sauce!

Not worth the expensive $12 burrito or $4 large drink. If you don't speak the language don't expect good service. I asked for some lime and it was like asking for a kidney

The girl taking orders had a bad attitude when we went, but the food was good other than that, the horchata is delicious.Parking: Free parking spots around the restaurant

28$ for a torta and a been and cheese burrito? Almost 4$ for a taco. So many other places on main with better food and better prices.

I'm in Mesa AZ , cruising around downtown This place looks like a good taco place so I stoped , because it said el ASADERO and there is a big Grill outside I order 2 tacos of tripe 2 of chicken 2 asada One small glass Mexican coke The tortillas are the smallest tortillas you can get The tripe taste like it's been in the fridge for weeks The asada has the same taste of old as the tripe Chicken it's ok , not good just ok Price per taco is outrageous, I'm from NorCal and NorCal is expensive But never have paid this much for a taco Service ok since you order they charge you and that's it , you pick your tacos from the counter when they call you Salsa bar is dirty , floor and baseboard dirty and greasy , ceiling has salsa splatter All over Please do not waste your money here

Overall, the food is good. The beans are one of the best authentic beans around! However, most times they use fillers such as bean and rice in their burritos. Or french fries in their breakfast burritos. You can take these out but the customer has to know to request without these items. The burritos will then be on the small side. The carne asada sometimes is overcooked, so it's dry. It's hard to determine when the food will be fresh. They also started charging for extra stuff - like extra chillies or a drink with breakfast burritos (when it was a combo meal before). They also charge for using a debit or credit card. If you can find that sweet time and day when the food is fresh- the food is amazing! Otherwise, it's one of the worst places to eat.

Carna asada fries are $19. Not very much cheese meat was bland so was the hot sauce.

I’m so glad I tried El Asadero. This is a small place that is doing Mexican food right. They offer combos with rice and beans which are both great. Burritos, tacos, chimichangas, tortas are some of the choices and everything is top notch Mexican cuisine. The salsa verde and roja are excellent. They offer breakfast burritos which I plan on trying in the morning, and even horchata.

The shredded beef tacos were bomb & beans were tasty. The super nachos hardly had any cheese on them. Super disappointed.

If you're trying to find the best bean and cheese burrito in AZ, look no further...and I should know as I try them at all kinds of different mexican food places across the valley. They have the best beans I've ever tasted, and use white cheese, and their red sauce pairs well...you will not be disappointed. Their asada tacos, and burritos are amazing as well!

I learned to make authentic Mexican food from some very traditional Mexican grandmothers who adopted me as a grandson and taught me when I asked them to. Because of that, I am very particular about what I am willing to call Mexican food or eat if it is labeled as such. I walked into Asadero and was greeted by traditional jalapeños with carrots pickled together and by the cut of both I am fairly confident it was done in house, both a red and green salsa that have a very satisfying flavor and balance, and a menu that said to me that they would be worth a try (very few places are willing to put lengua, or tongue for non-spanish speakers, in their menu even if it is unavailable at the moment). I had the 3 tacos combo so I could try multiple meats ordering asada, pastor, and barbacoa. I was slightly disappointed by the size of the tacos but only in the size. All 3 meats were exceptional. They all were flavorful and tender. The rice and beans were some of the best I have had from a restaurant in a year plus. The Jamaica was strong and sweetened just enough to make it perfect.
