My friend and I decided to give this place a try one weekend and we were so blown away with the food and service from Saad that we went back the following weekend with some family that was in town visiting. Saad remembered us and took such great care of us and our family, the food was fantastic, the ambiance is great but Saad's service is what really elevated the experience for us.“

“I love this place because on a chill Sunday when I want to watch a Suns game. Instead of heading to any phoenix bars I’d rather enjoy the game in a place like 12 west. Always good burgers, great drinks and amazing service. Today though Hannah went above and beyond. She knew I was really hoping for one of their cold brew signature drinks booze and brew and she went out of her way to make sure I got one. This woman is a saint! Took care of my friend and I, the entire time we were there. She made sure we felt at home. Honestly it felt like we were in her home and she was taking care of us like family. 12 WEST & the Mesa community are lucky to have her. “Great food in a classy establishment. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere. The food was delicious: sea scallops perfectly cooked, and meatloaf was incredible. German chocolate cake was perfect end to the evening. Wish they had larger selections of wine by the glass, but was able to find ones that we enjoyed.“

“Looking for a place with some creative menu offerings and good old standards, this is the place. The outdoor seating is terrific on an Arizona evening. Our server was out quick with water and to take our drink order. They offer a good choice of beers and specialty cocktails. We went with the French Dip. Beer & Cheese soup, and the Gochujang BBQ Pork & Kimchi Fried Rice. I have to say the Korean smoked pork was prepared perfectly. Tender and seasoned well, plus the gochujang sauce brought good heat and a balanced flavor. Our server noted it was his favorite menu item. I fully agree. Service was spot on, and the prices were certainly fair for good upscale gastropub style food. It all made for a terrific evening.“

“Really neat place, that changes its art exhibits every 4 months. Lots of pretty people go to this place! Very hip and trendy! The AZ88 buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese is the best in town and the pickles spears are very tasty as well. Fun bar located in the Scottsdale civic center! You won’t be disappointed! The bathrooms are really cool too, and they play great music in them!“

“Good layout and seating. Open air and patio are nice. The service was really good. The beer list is decent but two things that kept me from a 5 star is that they only can Two of their beers and have no NA beers they brew(they have standard options but nothing from them)“

“We had reservations for four April 12th. Two of the party members flew in on-time from Montana, but my wife and I encountered a five hour flight delay out of Georgia. FnB seated my brother and his wife at the time of the reservation, while my wife I scrambled off the airplane and caught surface transportation (bags in tow) to Old Town Scottsdale to try and get seated with them, albeit late. Knowing they needed to soon clear the table for an arriving large party, they graciously seated my wife and I (bags still in tow) for a quick drink and bite. We very much appreciated them accommodating our late arrival, stowing our luggage, and promptly taking our order and serving us. The cider and dish with greens and couscous was outstanding. “Stopped in for happy hour while visiting Scottsdale and had a great time! Our server, Carly, took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable all her recommendations were delicious! We especially liked the blackberry lime margarita and edamame ?“

“Fun place with very friendly staff ! We spoke with our server and one of the bartenders and they were both very engaging and helpful. There were many televisions, all on different channels. Mostly sports, which was nice. The food was delicious ! We had a new drink, The Desert Mule. Prickly pear vodka, prickly pear syrup, lime juice and ginger beer. So delicious we stopped at Total Wine on our way home to buy the ingredients. My wife got a chicken quesadilla which she said was very good. I had the Spicy Pig sandwich which was also very good. I had fries as my side. I wasn't crazy about the fries. I think they had a Cajun seasoning on them and they may have been a little overdone. Not horrible, by any means. Just not to my taste, today anyway. Our friends had a Cubano sandwich and fish & chips. They felt like there may have been a little too much breading on the fish. But other than that it was good.“

“I was very impressed with the unique offerings at this quaint, out of the way eatery; the menu appears to have something for just about everyone. We stopped by for lunch this week which was the first visit for both of us. I ordered one of the Vegan options and my lunch companion ordered the new French Dip, both dishes were exceptional and the service could not have been better. Of all the new restaurant finds I have come across over the past few years, this place tops my list. Looking forward to my next visit, there are so many unique menu options I am eager to try!“

“I had your basic BBQ burger. It was very good, as were the fries. There isn't much on the menu that appealed to me. At least for lunch. The burger was tasty. Service was very good, I was part of a very large group. They handled us very well.“

“Sat outside earlier thos week on their porch. Very nice view. I ordered just a regular cheeseburger. The orange sauce that comes on it..heaven! I asked for a side to take home. Fries were a bit sad I terms of being limp, but still pretty tasty. Water tasted very good and filtered.“

I did not sample the beers or cocktails, but could tell they were all creatively well crafted.The parking situation is little iffy with the construction, but there are parking lots nearby if needed.“

“We went for our anniversary dinner. McKenna was our server and was so wonderful. She anticipated our every need and was a delight. Martine was the manager and never once stopped moving. I have never seen a manager work as hard as him. He was bussing tables one moment then the next helping a customer then off to bringing out someone’s food. It was impressive. “I really like the atmosphere of the Culinary Dropout, unfortunately this evening was louder than other times - with a lot of children screaming and carrying on. Certainly not the fault of the establishment, however unfortunately it did have an impact on our experience. Food was tremendous, Steak and frites cooked perfectly. Service was good as well.“

“A great local eatery with lots of TVs throughout. The food is always really fresh and the wings are delicious! They're small in size but packed with flavor and leaner than most fatty skinned wings. I get them grilled with extra maple hot on the side. They also come with a side of carrots/celery and dressing of choice. We also enjoy their hummus with warm pita and fresh cut vegetables and a fresh hot basket of fries“
