Chico Malo offers a vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ playing hip-hop/reggaetón during Sunday brunch. Despite some minor issues with service, the delicious food and plentiful drinks make for a very good experience. The outdoor seating area is comfortable with misting fans to beat the heat. The queso with chorizo and shrimp and polenta entrees come highly recommended for their perfect flavors. The restaurant has an elegant and modern ambiance, making it a great dining option in downtown PHX.
