I made the mistake of going to the downtown Phoenix location on a game night and it was packed. There was a sign that said "Seat Yourself" so I managed to find a weird table/bar are that was facing away from the bar. No one acknowledged me for over 30 minutes. When I flagged someone down, the person blew me off and said someone would be with me, it was busy. I knew it was busy, I wanted to know who was taking care of my section. The next person I got said, "I've been here since 10 am, and I'm going home." This person said the bartender would be with me as soon as possible, reminding me it was busy. I went to the bar to get the bartender's attention and was told I was sitting in a kind of hang out area, but they could help me. After I got a finished eating, a manager-type person asked how it was. The food is always amazing and this time was no exception. The manager apologized, saying they were short-staffed. Apparently, no one checks the game schedule to be sure there are enough people working on a game night. I understand it was busy, however, I do not understand why I got 4 different answers when I wanted to know who was working my section. Seems like a pretty simple answer that most of them should know. The manager said it was the bartender's section, and the bartender said it was no one's section. Odd to say the least. The food is the only saving grace, lucky for them. Otherwise, I don't see how they stay open with such abysmal service.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.
