A delicious drive-through, dine-in, or take-out Mexican food joint that remembers they are a Mexican food restaurant despite a changing neighborhood demographic. The food is not life-altering but this place has never served me a bad meal. The service is always pleasant.
Living in the valley, I think I've been to all of the *berto's restaurants and had varying degrees of quality and limited consistency. I stumbled on Federico's not too long ago and have been blown away with the consistent quality. The food is always hot and well prepared. The red sauce is, well, red sauce. It's not red flavored vinegary water. The service is also fast and friendly :) If you have that craving for this kind of food, stop by... You're not going to regret it.

Going through the drive through for some breakfast burritos, i see on Yelp that this place is open 24-7 so we tried it. Communication through the system was a bit of a challenge, friendly service though. Food was ok but not great, a little bland to be honest, i wont say we wont go here again but we definitely wont be looking for it.
