Food is amazing I knew the owners of the Ahwatukee location and would go all the time until they had to close their doors. I've tried 3 times to go to this location and haven't been able to eat there c because they either close early or they won't do to-go orders if I catch them when they're open. I love the recipes but they need to get it together here.

My family, friends, and I have been coming to this location for 30 years, I have always loved the food and highly recommended to anyone who asks, particularly this location. We live 40 min away, so it's a drive but has always been worth it, but today was a very different experience and we will not be coming back. To start the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk across the table. The service was terrible, literally the server had the WORST I don't give a crap attitude I have ever experienced. My glass had a chip and it cut my lip, I told the server that it was chipped (not that it cut my lip) and he just grabbed it out of my hand and walked away. Never asked if everything was OK with the food. I had to ask for refills on our drinks even though there were only 2 tables sat, and he walked by multiple times. He barely spoke to us the entire time, dropped our check not a word, picked up our card, not a word and dropped the receipt not a word. Never once asked anything. I also heard him being VERY condescending to the table next to us.Now onto the food, the garlic pork was absolutely delicious as always, but the green chilie had no flavor. It was so bland compared to what I have come to expect of los dos. The rice and beans were so salty that it was inedible. The flour tortilla I got with the pork plate was so thick (like naan thick) and salty.I know this was a long read, but I just couldn't believe how things have changed here. We were so disappointed with the service and the food.

I used to go here for years. It was a vibrant great place! It's gone so downhill, dilapidated. Last time was not great. Last four times, not great...Food was cold and served slow and we were one of 3 or 4 tables. I just showed up at 8 pm tonight when the sign said open till 9. They literally were rude and said WE ARE CLOSED and he grand gestured around showing only one other table. It was a bald tall man that was VERY RUDE! I asked why since the sign said till 9. He said we are slow...They literally turned down business. I used to frequent this and other locations and now I am finally done giving this place a chance. THIS USED TO BE MY FAVORITE PLACE! it's sad how bad it's turned. I understand now why yhw other locations closed. Every opportunity has turned into an awful experience and its just so dirty. This place has lived past it's prime and just needs to be sold or closed unfortunately. Such a wonderful history they are literally pissing away. So sad!!!!

Our company frequently has lunch at this location with staff and vendors. The food is spot on and the green chili sauce on anything is the bomb! Service at lunch is always quick, friendly and attentive. The ambiance is a bit strange from the street but trust me, park and walk in. Authentic Mexican decor and fun place to eat. Enjoy!
