Went to Al Hamra today with a group of 8 and it was clean, spacious and had an amazing vibe. The food was to die for. We had the lamb dish, chicken Tikka masala, butter naan, ginger chicken and amazing samosas. The food was exquisite and the customer service was above and beyond. My favorite was their tea at the end of the night. It's a half milk and half tea combination and it was delicious. The owner made us feel so welcome and he was so hospitable. I will definitely be going back to support this business and highly recommend it.

The food is delicious. This is a hit for everyone in the family - I love the chicken tikka masala and Palek paneer.

We ordered soup, naan, two entrees and split rice pudding. Everything was delicious. For a 5 rating, the service would need to be better. It took a silly length of time to get a bowl of the soup of the day. After the entrees arrived they did well at refilling water glasses. We didn't order soda, but for $3.99 I would be angry to get a 12 Oz can of Pepsi. In the can. Honestly, a restaurant with tablecloths should not serve soda in a can. Very simple achy. And there had better be refills for the price. We will go back (when not in a rush) because the food was worth it!

We had the lamb biryani, palak paneer, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Food was delicious, portions generous and service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

We were traveling for business and we wanted some Indian food. We looked up this location and traveled to it. When we arrived, we were received with a warm welcome and shown to our seats. We then had a good discussion with the waiter. He recommended a few things and we took him at his word. It was all delicious. We had Lamb Makhani with a medium spice level and cilantro lime rice. We also had the Chicken Biryani with butter garlic naan bread. This is a place I would go back to again either on a business trip or for pleasure.

I may be too stuffed of delicious food to verbalize the deliciousness of the experience I just had.We think they may serve the best lentil soup we've ever had (3 peeps opinions), and it says it's organic!I can say that is the best garlic Naan I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, yet fluffy & thick, but still thin and nicely buttered with a reasonable amount of garlic. The rice was also perfect. The 3 entrées were completely devoured, and my friend said the lamb was cooked perfectly, and the chicken meat is all white meat. The service was great, and the establishment was very clean and classy.I look forward to returning.

We went here to try something different from the norm in Scottsdale. Everything is either Tex-mex, Italian, or a steak joint. Indian cuisine is a rarity. We are so glad that we did. The food was fantastic, and the service was, as well. However, the waiter was at our table too often. It was kinda weird. We were the only patrons in the restaurant when we got there. That typically worries me, but I'm glad that we stuck it out. The food was phenomenal. I'm not Indian, so I have no idea what is authentic and what is not. All I know is that I enjoy Indian food, and this place was good. The Tikka was spicy but not overpowering. You can order your spice level, which is typical. The only weird dish was the chicken kabob. It was kind of a mince meat. Funky. It's not my jam, but you may enjoy it. Everything else from the Tikka to the Naan to the lentils, the tofu was flavorful and seemed fresh. The wine list sucked, but not too many people are going to an Indian restaurant expecting an extraordinary wine list. Give it a try. You just might find that new favorite spot...

While we very much like their food, had a terrible experience this evening with customer service. Ordered directly through their website, upon arrival was told it had not registered and had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. So lesson to apparently use DoorDash instead of their website in the future. Would have been appropriate to be offered wine for the inconvenience, but they did not. Then about 6 min after driving away I received a call that “you forgot your naan.” Well, they forgot to give it to me, but that’s one way to phrase it. So went back and again nothing was done to make up for the inconvenience. Oh and to top it off, the food was not wrapped well so it leaked in the car.
