I have had Coconuts on Kauai and Maui multiple times. My favorite mahi mahi fish tacos. Maybe it was just missing that aloha vibe. It was ok, but dry and the salsa didn't have the full flavor like on the islands. Couldn't quite place why.

Hidden away in the plaza surrounding the movie theater. This location has a large outdoor, shaded patio. I have yet to find something I don't like here. The coconut shrimp and the Taco Mountain are go-to dishes. The veggies are always crisp and the fish is tastes fresh and flaky. There is a small but adequate beer selection and a couple of wine options, as well.Parking: The front parking lot is shared with the movie theater, so it can be very busy. There is a lot behind the restaurant, as well as south towards Shea. Tesla Chargers were just installed in the lot just south of the building.

Wowsers! We tried this place and ABSOLUTELY loved it! I ordered the fish tacos and they knocked my socks off - I'm allergic to egg, so had it sans the cole slaw it it was still super duper tasty.They're more than just tacos, they've got fish platter, chicken and veggie burgers, calamari, poke bowl, chowder, and more.Super casual experience, indoor and outdoor seating. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful, especially knowing it was my first time.Would I go again? You betcha, as a matter of fact I just recommended to a GF that we meet here next time we get together - that's when I realized I hadn't rated this place yet.YUM!!! This was my first time here. I walked in and was greeted immediately. The girl at the counter (long dark hair and glasses, didn't get her name) walked me through everything that was popular and was super knowledgeable and nice. She told me what comes on everything, what spice blends are good, and told me their slaw and tartar sauce are made daily, that the fish n chips are not beer battered so they are a little lighter than other fish n chips. I got the fish n chips because I had been craving it. It hit the spot. The staff here is very attentive, everything is clean and well cared for. Will be back and definitely recommend!

The food is 4.5, ambiance 4, service depends on which one you get, can be between *1.5 and *5. A group of 6 elderly (ages 75 to 89) people, one with obvious mobility problems tried to sit down while a couple of us ordered at the counter. Waitress told us none of us could sit until our food was ordered. There was plenty of open space, but we needeed to sit and also worried that more people sitting down in t6he next few minutes might force our group to split. We ignored the wicked witch and sat down. She gave us some evil looks throughout. Wish that when we get a request to tip, we could specify who gets it. I wonder if we hand cash to individuals they have to share it.

What a great fast casual restaurant. For such a casual and quick service restaurant, their food is not just fast, but fresh and nicely presented. Had the grilled shrimp skewer and Taco Mountain. Both were fantastic. Can't emphasize enough how fresh everything was and was prepared. Clean, bright and open dining area with plenty of seating. Prices were reasonable and the waitstaff was friendly.
