“What’s not to love? Indoor/Outdoor dining, a large grassy area with stage and occasional live music. It’s a great venue for adults, kids, families. Friendly fast/casual service: order at the counter, fill your drinks, grab a locator and a table, and enjoy the ambiance while you wait for food! My guilty pleasure is the glazed donut burger, or the peanut butter burger. They had a make your own Mac and cheese special last time we were here. Don’t be fooled though: the menu has plenty of no-guilt and less-guilt options too. It’s one of our must stop locations, every time we (myself, wife, child) come up the hill.”

“Wow, we just had coffee, smoothies and Avocado toast for first time at Harvest Juice co. Everything tasted so so good. We’ll be back when we’re in town. I would definitely recommend stopping by for healthy, yummy food and drinks! 🙌🏻”

“The salads made us very happy after days of bad vegetable-free road food, thank you! Strawberry spinach salad with salmon and quinoa salad with chicken were both fresh, tasty, well balanced meals.

Only suggestion: waxed cardboard to-go boxes for salads would be more environmentally friendly than plastic.”

“When someone says hey I know a good hole in the wall place. This would be the definition. Amazing Burger amazing staff. Went for my first time on Wednesday and was back at lunch on Thursday. Best lunch on the mountain.”

“Wow! that just about sums it up!! Great cooks, food,service and atmosphere!! We go every week. Breakfast or lunch. We just had our Country Lane Volunteers Appreciations lunch there. It was wonderful. The owner is just remarkable. I suggest every one give it a try. You won't be disappointed.”

“Banditos is great for taqueria food. They were fast with the takeout. The prices are fantastic. The guacamole was excellent. Salsas were fresh and delicious. Fresh warm chips. I'd give it 5 stars, but the taste I wanted from the taco and enchilada was just not there. The sauce seemed canned. It was ok though. The rice is kind of bland, but the beans were really good. We have gone there a couple of times now. I'd recommend it for a quick meal on a budget.”

“I’m from Hawaii and the cashier Ashley was so Super FRIENDLY I thought I was in HEAVEN. She’s the friendliest person in Retail I’ve ever seen EVER! The Atlantic Cod dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli 🥦 was amazing good. This same meal in Hawaii would three times more expensive than here.”

The home made lemonade is amazing, and the coffee is always perfectly brewed.

“Came in today for ice cream. The place was a zoo! The young ladies running the counter were polite and very efficient! And I appreciated them being kind enough to get another scoop for my gluten free ice cream without even asking! The ice cream is DELICIOUS and you can tell it’s homemade! They also have several gluten free pastries and desserts as well. Great job and I highly recommend this place.”

“Peggy is a breath of fresh air! When you walk in, members say hi, or nod their head. This Moose Lodge has a friendly environment. My wife, Connie Thompson is beginning a new business selling hot dogs. Peggy took the time to explain the best suppliers and products. My wife left after meeting Peggy as someone she could trust. I was a member here 45 years ago and I have just rejoined. Having moved back here. I am proud to be a Moose member.”

“Most people don't even know there are mountains in Arizona. But, the White Mountains in Eastern Arizona are one of the most beautiful areas of Arizona. Torreon, to our family, is the Gem of the White Mountains. It sits among impressive tall pines, with a beautiful clubhouse and 36 holes of golf. The clubhouse restaurant is open to the public, and offers great food and service! We built a second home here a few years ago. And, we love it so much that we had our daughter's outdoor wedding here three years ago. It's an easy 3 hour drive from NE Phoenix. You won't be disappointed!!”

“The food is very good, a little pricey. Nice atmosphere and the have the Cowboy Channel which I enjoy watching. It just added to thd theme and let me enjoy my favorite channel while I ate. The food will not disappoint. I highly recommend the fried Ribs they are delicious!”

Wheelchair accessibility: The Handicap parking is not by the door. I did not see a ramp. I use a walker, so could lift up the wheels to get up over the curb. The doors did not have an opener.”

“Love this coffee! We got everything lattes...so good & a strawberry banana smoothie really delicious. Staff was friendly, service was fast, best coffee I've ever had in the 30 years of coming up to the White mountains. The only downside they have recently been bought out & are changing the name I hope they don't get rid of or change the current menu.”

“The sandwiches are great tasting, but the sandwich makers need to care a little more about what they are doing. I often have barely any bread on the bottom 😕 and way to thick on top. Because they don't cut it in half evenly. Takes a minute to be careful I guess. And I usually open my sandwich and spread the filling. The meat is in clumps. Some bites are all meat, some none. Because of this we don't go very often. But they do taste great 👍😋”

“My wife and I drove here from Snowflake to pick up a free TV and entertainment center and soundbar for our fifth wheel. While we were here we were wanting a non-caffeinated Starbucks drink, because we are part of the Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ church. When we were there we totally forgot to request no coffee in our drinks. Upon getting to the car we took our sips and realized our mistake. We went back in to see if we can get them remade without the coffee, and they said yeah no problem!

“The owners are amazing and have been here for over 20 years. The food is delicious and the staff takes care and pride in the food. There is also a play center for kiddos. Mexican candy is available. And some other kid friendly amenities. Overall, it has been a great experience going here.”
