Sorry to hear Rosies is closing. Been coming here for about 3 years with my aunt who lives a half a mile away. We've met nice people here. Food is decent. I'm going to take her to a new Italian place I discovered called Paulie's in Sun City that is very good and has live music and dancing.

Just read that Rosie's is closing at the end of the month. So sad. If you get a chance please support them before they close for good. Thank You.

Sadly, Rosie has announced she is closing her beloved Italian restaurant for good at the end of this month. We will miss Rosie, her staff and the delectable food.

Rosie is still cooking every day except Sunday, but only for take-out. I called in hopes I wouldn't have to cook last night. My Chicken Parmigiana and the soup and a warm, buttered roll were ready in the promised 30 minutes and was ready to go as I walked in the door. Home in a few minutes and sat down to enjoy a delicious and relaxing dinner. They're open until 6:00 PM. Do what you can to support our local businesses during these trying times. Your appetite will thank you.

Our first visit to Rosie’s certainly won’t be our last! The restaurant was packed, a first good sign. We started with the bruschetta which took us back to Italy, with a nice glass of Chianti and a Peroni. My husband devoured the Sausage in Carrozza Over Spaghetti and I enjoyed the night special, eggplant parmigiana. What can I say? So Delicious! To finish our Italian feast, we shared a cannoli. I’m rating this a five star because that’s just what it is...not fancy, just good homemade Italian cuisine.

I love the Italian beef combo! This place holds a special place in my heart as it is the place my late sister in law and I would go to catch up on life and enjoy a lunch together. When I am in town, I always make sure to have a combo at Rosie's.

Rosie's will feed you good Italian food that you cannot get anywhere else. The food is delicious, the price is right and you'll want to come back again and again.

We were in Arizona to play golf and watch baseball and I had been told that Rosie's was a wonderful place to eat. Our host took us there and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and ordered four different meals. It is really informal, no pretension here. The stuffed shells were great, the clam linguine garlicky with lots of sauce and the service was quick and efficient.

Have visited SCW for years and never new this place existed. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect based on other reviews but decided to give it a try. I received a friendly greeting walking in and was promptly seated. It’s a rather small restaurant with plastic table clothes that have been sewn on the corners to fit the table (hoping for the neighborhood Italian restaurant with white tablecloths!). I ordered the meat lasagna with a glass of wine. The meal included a house salad which was good but instead of bread it was served with a small package of saltine crackers. The lasagna was a huge portion and served piping hot. The one piece of bread served covered and soaking in melted butter. The lasagna was delicious and enough was left over to take home for a second meal. Overall, this is a nice little restaurant with very good food. The staff was great and the food delicious. It would be better if the atmosphere was not so institutional and basket of bread was on the table.

Yesterday was Valentines Day so they had a limited menu (dinners only). So I had the lasagna w/meat, I would rate it as moderately fair. My wife had the veal parmesan (not normally on the menu). It was a complete flop, had better veal parmesan from frozen TV dinners. I know the restaurants are limited in the west valley, but both these items were really disappointing. ** On the other side, we have ordered pizza from Rosie's in the past and very honestly speaking (coming from Chicago) their thin crust pizza is very good. I would rate their pizza at 9.0 out 10.0. But based on what we had yesterday, would only suggest pizza from this restaurant.

We hadn't been here in several months, so decided we would go for our anniversary last week. Excellent ziti with meatballs (hubby wished he had ordered sausage), very fresh salad with popular house dressing, and for dessert cannoli shell was very tough to break through with fork, tiramisu was flavorful. The garlic buns were delicious this time - not tough from microwave. We were pleased - quick service, although waitress seemed VERY rushed, and we had to call her back to the table 2x to complete our order.

My parents love this place, and there was a good-sized crowd of local regulars, clearly enjoying themselves when we arrived. To me, this is Perfectly okay food, designed to appeal to an older crowd. Yes, the salads are *huge* - but are mostly plain lettuce. The lasagna was fine. The sauce is very basic with no punch to speak of. Similar to what you'd get in a frozen store-bought dish. Likewise, my Chicken Parmigiana sandwich was thin, breaded and overcooked slices of chicken on a basic roll with cheese. This wouldn't be my first choice for Italian food - but they've clearly developed a loyal following, and I respect that.

Atmosphere was very good, as was the service. Rosie's is very popular, and service can be spotty when crowded. Menu is large. One of us had the chicken salad, the other had baked ziti. Both were very good. Their garlic buns were outstanding. Portions were large, so no room for desserts.

Good food is often hidden in small out of the way Ma and Pa restaurants this is one of them.

I love their Beef or Cheese Lasagna and garlic buns. Best ever! They have good pizza too. They get really busy so get their early.
