There's a subtle smokiness upon entering the restaurant, just enough to be enticing and not overpowering. There was plenty of street parking at 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, and no wait to be seated. We were greeted immediately and told we could seat ourselves and order at the bar. After a long morning hike, we both decided on the chopped brisket sandwich on sourdough bread, and my partner added fries. The brisket was excellent and needed no additional seasoning. The service was great, too. They were attentive but not intrusive. Can't wait to go back!
Stopped in for lunch here today after visiting the arboretum and had such a nice easygoing experience. Gilbert was preparing a delicious looking salad when we commented on it. He let us have a try of his recipe and it is a winner. Hope they add it to the menu as a side. But we ordered brisket sandwiches and turkey sandwiches with macaroni sides and wedge salad sides. Yummy. My husband (a picky eater) said he is definitely coming back here. We live in a neighboring small town and wish this smokehouse was in our town. The bartender was enjoyable to talk with also.

I was really surprised to find this place! My dad recommended it and I was skeptical - well, I was wrong. I got the sampler platter and was impressed. The brisket was a little to fatty for my preferences but the taste was spot on. Very cool location, great menu. Would definitely come back!

Savory brisket sandwich loaded with meat, delicious fries and tasty potato salad topped with crumbled bacon. Served indoors by the bar or outdoor at picnic tables with a view of the mountains. Friendly waitstaff. I'd definitely recommend.

This place is one of the best bbq places we have ever had and i know good bbq! The smoked turkey is the best turkey i have ever tried! My 6 year old says this place deserved more than 5 stars. Worth the drive to Superior! Hike at Boyce then head over for lunch!

Great food. Gal who took our order was running the place solo so poor service was not her fault. She was doing a fabulous job, as good as anyone could expect. But, slow service which is understandable.One the other side. Dog poop on the patio (thankfully the cook or the one other employee working didn’t clean it up as they were busy serving food).Always great food but they definitely need more help. Mostly for the sale of their few employees, but also for the customers
Cool place in a cool town. The brisket was really good. Superior is a great little town in a beautiful area. Good place to stop when riding a motorcycle through the area.Parking: Parking downtown is super easy and there are always spaces open.

This place was busy and the one girl taking orders for food and drinks as well as bringing out the food took it all in stride. Order at the counter, seat yourself, they bring your food, then you bus your table. Works easy. The outside seating was great and you can see them work at the smokers. The menu is straight forward, no fuss. We had the side wedge salad, potato salad, side of pulled pork, and loaded fries. The dressing was sweet for the salad and coleslaw, a bit too much for our taste. The fries and pork - amazing!!! Would recommend the loaded fries to anyone looking for advice.
