I've been coming here for awhile and it's my go-to over any other name in town. First, I want to say they need to bring back the dark red salsa they used to have. I think it was guajillo based? But apparently only one employee knew how to make it and kept it a secret? Their red (hot) and green (mild) salsas are good, but I'd like to see more / a medium option. Something roasted chipotle maybe? My reason for finally writing a review is I just had their grilled chicken on their super nachos for the first time, and wow, it's good. I normally get a fish burrito (no tartar sauce add sour cream instead) or something with adobada, or their breakfast burrito for the occasional morning meal, but I'll be getting that grilled chicken more often. Their marinated carrots are also ? and you really can't go wrong here.

Best carne asada burrito in Tempe hands down. The horchata is also amazing. Maybe even the best takeout in Tempe.
I've eaten here for many years. The make everything from scratch and it tastes just like the classic Sonoran food grandmothers used to cook when I was growing up. Everything is good; my favorites include chicken taco's, chili relleno, carne asada burritos, and beans (made just like at home, never dry). The atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming. The staff is invariably helpful, friendly and professional. Even at "rush hours" they get food out fast. Absolutely great place!

If you like Mexican food Amados is a staple spot to visit. Everything on their menu I have tried has been delicious. I also enjoy their hot sauce. I’d highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you like authentic Mexican food. It’s also open 24 hours with a drive through.

Looks good doesn't taste good but you definitely get a lot of food. I'll be honest... The carne asada fries are overrated unless people like soggy fries for some reason. Overall I will only go here when my friends want it.

For a small restaurant they have pretty big flavor. My kids love their bean and cheese burritos and the rolled tacos. They are quick and friendly . I think they are one of the only places that don't use cumin as a " Mexican spice". I hate cumin!
