“No need to wait for Thanksgiving for food coma. Ordered the vegan platter and I am stuffed. The beets were my favorite. Add this to the ethopian restaurants you should eat at. Could have done with out the smokey incense. 5 stars all the way. Check it out you will be so happy. Yummo.“
“This place was amazing !!! Fun atmosphere wonderful service. Our 1st time here with my family of 8, the waitress was so kind and helped guide me what to order I had no idea what to do. She was so kind and helpful. We had the best time. Understand everything is freshly made so it takes some time but absolutely worth it !! Order the coffee mid meal you won't regret it !!“
“This is hands-down the best Ethiopian food in Phoenix! Flavors are so complex and developed. We're vegetarian, so we usually go for the veggie combos and lentil sambusas. The ambience is friendly and warm, and there's an extra eating area with Mesob basket tables for a more communal and intimate setting. My husband and I enjoy this spot for date night, and my daughter loves eating with her hands. For an extra treat, try the coffee ceremony. We're not Ethiopian, but we just love this spot. Once you taste the food, you won't be sorry.Vegetarian options: Veggie ComboSambussas“
“The food was very good. I'm a little picky, but I really try to branch out and try other foods. So I feel like I am gambling a little bit when I try new foods, but I didn't have to worry here. Delicious.I also liked the suggestions of the woman who took our order. When I asked for no green peppers it was no problem at all.The restaurant is connected to a little market next door. Mostly dry goods and clothing with a little of everything else.“
“First time eating Ethiopian food, i will definitely be back! I really enjoyed all the different flavors of the food from the meat combo and the tibbs. The lady that served us right away was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Ethiopian beer was also delicious.“
“I absolutely loved eating here! I had the awaze tibs entre with the side of salad that comes with it. The awaze tibs tasted buttery, savory, and full of rich detail with a combination of noteworthy spice and sweetness that comes from beef tips being cooked in awaze hot sauce. The service was great while the dining atmosphere was also extremely authentic with great Ethiopian posters of artistry and other wall decor. I am so glad I came here to eat!“
