It was our first time trying Mexican food, and we were very impressed. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. We ordered chips and salsa, a tamale, and the chicken enchiladas, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The flan for dessert was the perfect ending to the meal, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The service was wonderful as well. We look forward to coming back again.
Took myself out for happy hour. Delightful Lemon Drop martini. I ordered Fish Tacos- crispy corn tortilla and black beans. The cook on the fish and the taco shell were perfect, though the fish needed spice to make it the star of the dish it was intended to be. Fortunately the salsa filled in the blandness.
Staff are friendly and restaurant is clean. El Cisne stands out as perennial favorite amongst the foothills locals. Try the bar! You'll have a lovely time.

First time here, service was friendly and fast. So we started by ordering cheese crisp with green chilies, the tortilla was good, the green chilies were good but the cheese didn't seem to melt properly .. it was OK. Chips and salsa delivered , the salsa was excellent, chips were crispy and good.. ya know if ya don't have good chips and salsa, you don't have good food.
