I love dark chicken meat on the bone. This place is legit!Update 2023: The food is still great, the dark chicken is tender as can be and the sides are great! Keep doing what you're doing, cause you're doing it well.And fix your grill vents. It was smokey AF on 9/25/23Not smokey anymore on 4/15/24 ?

I came to eat here two days ago and by far it’s the cleanest store I've been too for Pollo Loco. The staff were super friendly and helpful when I didn't know what to order. My food came out in a timely matter and was delicious. It was overall a great experience and I do recommend stopping by!
I treat myself to lunch from this El Pollo Loco location about once every week or two because it is close to my office, and the food seems healthier than other nearby fast food or quick service options. I usually get the double chicken tostada, and it is consistently good. Adding to my positive experience at this restaurant is the excellent service that Tammy provides in the drive through. She is always happy, friendly, and efficient, and deserves recognition for this. Thank you!

I ordered a meal from them through door dash and when the driver showed up he was told they cancelled my order because they couldn't complete it. They did not contact anyone before cancelling it. We were waiting for our meal for over 30 minutes. My husband is diabetic and his blood sugar dropped while waiting. This is not the first incident I have had with this restaurant. The food is okay but the service is not good. Will not ever try them again. Will not ever recommend them to anyone.

This place never disappoint me. Whenever I am in Tucson, I make sure that i stopped by for a burrito or taco.
I grew up with El Pollo loco in California and was ecstatic to see them come to Tucson. The chicken, salsas, and everything else are just as good as what I grew up with. I love their cole slaw and avocado salsa. I don't recommend ordering from their website or any third party app as they will ALWAYS forget most of your salsa. I have learned time and time again. You just need to show up, order, and ask for the exact amount of salsa you want at the cash register.
Not impressed won't be rushing back Taco Tuesday is better at Taco bell , Customers spitting in Inside trash can , dirty tables everywhere left behind vape pen .. Overpriced shortage of food /

I recently visited El Pollo Loco and unfortunately, the chicken was slightly burned. Additionally, despite ordering for dine-in, our order was given as takeout. I've always loved their chicken, but this experience was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the atmosphere was excellent as usual. Overall, a three-star rating seems appropriate for this visit.
