Went on a Saturday night and had a great time! The food was tasty and they just got some new soju, which I definitely want to try more flavors of. I had peach this time and I highly recommend. Our server Hailey was friendly, attentive, and very pretty :)
Went on a Sunday afternoon (about 2pm), and it was completely dead. We were seated right away. The server was very attentive but left us to ourselves for the most part – very appreciated. Other reviews mention high prices which is true, but it shows in the sushi. Good taste, well prepared. The owner or manager happened to be in that afternoon and checked on us twice and was very friendly. My partner and I have been here many times and hold Izumi as our favorite restaurant in Tucson! The staff is all so friendly and accommodating, and the wait time is next to nothing. The food is top tier, we have tried ramen at the many different places that serve it in Tucson, and none have topped Izumi's Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen in quality. The portions are also VERY generous!
