This hidden gem is worth the drive. Laverna's sits in an industrial area and is easily missed, but if you find it, you will be in for a treat. Portions are generous. The food is tasty! The staff is great. The homemade biscuits were fabulous!
Great food well worth the trip Perfectly Cooked Well Balanced Excellent Portion sizes! Just be warned !!!!!!You'll only need ONE pancake at this place asThey overhang the plate and are an inch thick! I had a pineapple one this morning and it was just like upside down cake . I didn't even use syrup on it, it was that sweet. I also recommend the chicken fried steak, and the biscuits and gravy. My only gripe would be the lack of coffee refills.

They had a wonderful waitress, mona Lisa. She made our day better, she's just a happy person that gives out good vibes. Anyway talking about the food, they had good big portions, food was good. I had the green chili omelette with potatoes and biscuits, I loved their biscuits. I did not try their signature pancakes but they did look amazing.
