We're from Texas and this is some good Mexican food with lots of flavor! The employees are very good and keep their eye on you and how you are doing!

They moved from Kinney rd to somewhere on the east side. It is good food though. Nnnnn

After waiting for months for a new Mexican food restaurant on the East side of town my wife and myself eagerly looked forward to a real treat. When arrived at 3 pm there was only 2 tables occupied and seated ourselves. We promptly ordered. My wife had a cheese enchilada, tostada, rice and beans. The rice was fluffy and good, the beans were runny but good, the cheese enchilada ok, the tostada tortilla was not crispy but soggy and tasteless. I ordered chili relleno, beef taco, rice and beans. The relleno was smothered in red enchilada sauce and was hard to find as it was as if the chili came from a can and then cooked to death. The taco was small, very crisp and filled with a small amount of shredded beef and topped with lettuce. This can’t be the restaurant that friends on the West side recommended? Sorry about the bad review but have lived in Tucson for 50 years and dined in dozens of Mexican restaurants our favorite is Mi Nedito. Won’t be back.

Was the best Sonoran food I'd ever had. Too bad they moved because I'm gonna miss my Thursday night dinner!

We were excited to try this restaurant based on the stellar reviews. We followed the GPS instructions and were pleasantly surprised to not have to get on the freeway. After 15 minutes of driving and another 10 of looking around we found a closed restaurant with a hand written sign saying that they would be closed for the foreseeable future. I don't think they will be opening any time soon. Moral of the story: If you're from out of town, call ahead. We ended up at Si Charro instead.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Tucson Mountain Park. It was very crowed at that time. We placed a to go order & it was ready in about 10 minutes. The food was very good and reasonable. Would definitely stop there again.

Absolutely delicious food! Fast great service! We weren't rushed even though it was close to closing. The red chili is absolutely amazing! A must try for sure!

Nice local Mexican restaurant. This is a no frills place but the food is excellent and the prices remain quite reasonable. Friendly service also.

We were in town for a few days visiting relatives and I was craving some good Mexican food. Last visit we chose the fancy $$$ restaurant and it was just OK. This time I was willing to try something different. Los Nopales was just the different I was looking for. Not your typical looking place from the outside, but let me tell you what a surprise this place turned out to be. Walked in, seated immediately due to ONE open table. The place was packed and the To Go orders were flying out the door. We had chips and salsa within 1minute. We had drinks within 3minutes, and our amazing food within 10minutes! Our local relatives were impressed! We did good and will definitely return upon visiting next time!

A rare treat. Menu is simple, but that usually means that they do their feet items, well. "Crispy Cheese" is one of their signature dishes. Never heard of it before but we are glad we ordered and tried it. Also tried their Veggie Burro and Cheese Enchiladas. All got rave reviews. We returned from the other side of town just to eat here, aha n. Go.

Quick, friendly and tasty. Meat and fish was high quality and the place was full. The staff were helpful and the other guests were all eating well too.

Very good service and speak English very well. Food was great, but not a fan of an entire head of iceberg lettuce on my tostada.
