“Nice, romantic eatery on the east side. I met my lady friend here on a lovely Sunday morning. We sat outside near the fountain. The food was good, good friendly service, lovely place to meet and chat!Vegetarian options: It's Mexican food, so there are a number of vegetarian options to choose from.Parking: Large parking lot to the front, side, and back of this establishment.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the fountain if seated outdoors.“
“I really enjoyed the home style like atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. The food was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised to find hibiscus drink on the menu. It's really refreshing!! I usually don't drink horchata, but I tasted my son's, and El Sur's is one of the best that I've had.“
“My favorite thing about coming here is sitting at the bar facing out. The view of the Tucson valley is really beautiful. The food is good, but a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. I really liked the spicy mango ceviche, because it had large chunks of shrimp. The bartenders were very attentive and made a really great Paloma. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. I would recommend coming during the day or during a sunset so you can enjoy that view!“
“Our food took almost an hour to come out of the kitchen and that was annoying and inconvenient, especially since we came to dinner with our hungry 2 year old. What saved the dinner was our waitress, Lisa. She was amazing, attentive, communicative, accurate and very personable. The salmon and side of asparagus was really good, but the vegetarian enchiladas and tuna plate were just ok. Drinks were strong, which isn't a complaint necessarily.“
“Food was good. We ordered the the green chicken enchiladas which were spectacular. They are not rolled, so I was unsure when they arrived, but don't let that fool you. Just as much flavor and a really nice combination of flavors.. The house margs were very easy to put down too. Chips were a little to think and not fresh or warm is my only suggestion for improvement, but salsa was good.“
