“This Tucson Sub spot never misses! Always HITS! They have a variety of sub options on their menu, as well as healthy choice options from wraps to salads. Don’t be afraid to ask about their secret menu options either! The owner recommended one today (see photo below) and it was absolutely everything I wanted in a sub sandwich. Great tasting ingredients, not shy of filling the bread up, threw that extra cheese just right, and had a spicy kick to it. I have tried a few different sandwiches on the few occasions I have returned, and some menu items I have revisited, always with the same love and preparation as the time before. Beyond the food, is the service. This Ma and Pop shop heart and soul is in its hospitality and welcoming feeling, and it directly reflects into the food they serve on a day to day. I have found no reason to go to any other sub place in town because, for me personality, this one takes the cake. Amazing people, outstanding service, delicious food, great value, all in one locally owned and operated location right here in Tucson.“

“This morning, I had the best breakfast sandwich of my life.

I’m almost 36 years old, and I used to spend 12–15 hours a day working in fine-dining kitchens around Greater Boston. And this is a local chain.

They are crushing it. Absolutely crushing it.

All the bread is made within the same restaurant group, the ingredients are prepared from scratch, and the flavor combinations are deliberate and exceptionally well executed. It’s chef-owned but employee-run. It is decidedly a sandwich shop, but the quality is second to none in my experience.

P.S. I had another sandwich for lunch, and it may genuinely be the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten.

And both were DoorDashed directly to my hotel room.

When I ate there a few days ago, the manager kindly showed me the kitchen, deck ovens, and proofing rooms. The whole operation is remarkable.

Don’t worry, I tipped them well :) Such a nice experience after a 12 hour shift.“

I go into an establishment where I am ALWAYS greeted with a hello and a smile, I'm given superior customer service and amazing quality product every time I enter. I've always paid with a card but today I had cash and after paying I went to leave the guy just a few dollars and he looked right at me and said THEY HAVE A NO TIPPING policy. These owners are doing something right and more business should take note.

“Food is great, ingredients and bread are fresh. The dining area itself is very nice with good seating arrangement. The service can sometimes be slow, there is usually only a few staff on hand. I frequent as a customer and DoorDash driver and only have positive things to say. The worker are usually friendly, never rude. The wait times are usually not an issue. I recognize the workers are typically tied up with something in back if they aren’t immediately at the counter to take orders, so I don’t think that’s something to worry about too much. I vastly prefer this Quiznos over the other local sandwich shops on the block, I’ve lived down the street my whole life from said location. Good food, friendly staff, welcoming dinning space, would definitely recommend.“

“I built my own sub and if I do say so myself I did a pretty good job. Seriously though, I wish I would have gotten the names of the employees working. They were fantastic and had loads of patience. My daughter and I went into Subway at 17:30 (5:30pm) on 01/27/2025. I hope I have narrowed things down. My contacts were extremely cloudy and it was getting dark. I can't see to drive very well at night and my daughter doesn't drive. I might have seemed hurried and a bit moody to the employees there. They handled it with class and dedication. I am so sorry if I seemed a bit cross. My sandwich was delicious and I will definitely be back in a better mood. It's no excuse, I could have asked but I didn't know if you could still build your own sub with the ingredients you wanted or if the menu changed to what was suggested. Yes, we all know Baggin’s is a tad bit expensive but its stayed the same and been a pillar of the Tucson local food scene for decades now. And this location provides a clean, welcoming environment, employees who actually greet the customer (take a hint Jack in the Box, Wendys and Subway!) and food made accurately and with care and attention.

“Really good sandwiches and very cozy! Went here after flying back from Florida for my uncle’s wedding; I got the high baggin’s sandwich, tomato basil soup, and a lemonade. Each meal comes with a piece of cheese toast and a cookie, free of charge. The sandwich was amazing! The egg salad blended well with the bacon, and the iceberg lettuce added a perfect crunch to it. The tomato basil soup was well seasoned and nice and hot. I reccomend placing the cookie they give you on top of the soup container while you eat the rest of your food to help warm it up. I hope to go again - the food was great!“

Our 1st stay was in June of 2024 for her 1st wedding anniversary alone. We had reservations at PY steakhouse, but our plans changed. I still wanted to have a nice dinner at the resort. So we tried Bellissimo and loved it.
