This was our first, but not our last, dining experience at Terraza Garden Patio. The food was delicious, with lovely presentation. We actually were not expecting much, but were so pleasantly suprised!! And our server, Klarissa, was wonderful!! Very friendly and so efficient!! Thanks to the entire staff for a lovely dining experience.

We are locals and have dined at Terraza in the past and enjoyed it. Last night, though, was disappointing. We arrived 15-20 min before our 7pm reservation time, so we could relax and have a drink at the bar. Our order was promptly taken, however, by the time our drinks arrived it was already 7pm. The waiter said the bar was busy, but it didn't seem any different than a regular Friday night. We were seated at our table by 720 and given water but then we waited probably another 10 minutes till the waitress came to take drink orders. At that time we informed her we did not have drink menus. She went and got one then came back to take our drink order. While we were waiting for our drinks, a long time again, we flagged down a different server for an appetizer order. I believe it was 8pm and we still had no food. We finally received our drinks and appetizer and then ordered dinner. At least three times during the night we asked the waitress a question where her response was “I usually work breakfast.” It's definitely OK not to know something, but instead of giving an excuse she could just say “I will find out for you.” Don't get me wrong, she was pleasant enough and I don't think she should be penalized for lack of training by the facility. Regarding the food, the nachos were enjoyed by all, and the steak frites were good, although slightly overdone in temperature. I heard no complaints about the other entrees. By the time we had our dessert and got our check, it was 945. I don't mind a leisurely dinner, but it just seemed to be a comedy of errors last night from start to finish which put a damper on the evening.

Had an outstanding evening and dinner tonight on the Terraza garden patio. Our waitress was amazing and so sweet we were celebrating our anniversary, so she made every effort to ensure we had a great evening. We tried their street tacos and chicken enchiladas, which tasted great. They had live entertainment, which added to our evening with the great mountain views.

We both had the blackened salmon with a glass of the Spanish Chardonnay, a first! The ambience was great as we sat outside on a beautiful night, with jazz piano playing from the inside patio, and the heater taking the chill off us. Our server, Michelle, was fabulous!

Lovely place to eat. A hidden gem in Tucson. Great atmosphere and wonderful food and service. Patio is always beautiful but our inside table just off patio was wonderful as well. Food is delicious and done well. Drinks were delicious and made to perfection.

We we're concerned immediately by the attitude of both hostesses. We felt like we were bothering them when we arrived for our reservation. But the service after the initial experience was outstanding. The food server/s met and exceeded all expectations. The food was terrific too. Ordered a burger and chicken caesar salad. Wow!

Great ambiance, the patio is a nice partially outdoor or fully outdoor experience with a nice view. Lunch was tasty, the server was very attentive. I would go back, and, I'd also like to try their dinner venue at the same location - looks fantastic.

Everything was beautiful and the food was fine, but the service was just horrible. This was not our server's fault; she was lovely and wanted to be helpful, but the kitchen staff and finally, the payment/checkout staff at the end took our cards and never returned. We ultimately had to go up to the front and pay in cash, as we couldn't wait any longer.
We were expecting a better prepared meal for the prices we paid. Perhaps it was our choices, but each of our entrees was rather bland and simply did not stand out. Terraza is such a lovely setting so it is our hope that the food will be more tasty as well as memorable. Our table service was outstanding, we felt cared for as diners. Maria was great.

Great food, amazing surroundings,and excellent service! We got there in time to take advantage of Happy Hour, and enjoyed drinks and the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The live music was wonderful, too-one of our favorite dinner spots.

We had a great waitperson, new on the job and eager to offer good service. The views of mountains are lovely, and the restaurant is not too loud like many are nowadays. The food was above average, but not spectacular.

We were not hotel guests. They would not give us a good table. The server tried to hurry us and forgot my after dinner beverage. The food was not as good as I remember. The place is beautiful, especially at night. I will not be returning.

On my reservation I requested the patio, which I assumed implied outdoors. I also mentioned we would have a dog. Upon arrival we were seated inside, directly next to another dog. I asked if we could move to the vacant table against the wall so the dogs wouldn't bother each other and was told no, that wasn't a possibility. The entire meal no one was using that table. The delivery of the "no" was not tactful either. We specifically went to Terraza for the patio experience for a birthday celebration and felt really let down by the lack of service. We were basically told if we didn't like it too bad. After years of great experiences before, I was really let down and won't be back again.
