Good news. Duck special was amazing! Dessert was great! Original drink orders took way too long. But drinks were excellent. Server did well. We returned one of our 3 duck entrees for being slightly under medium. Overall good is fantastic. Seerver and server assistant did good jobs. Bar is too slow and do not go with anyone slightly hard of hearing. It's loud. Good because it's busy. I'm ok with it but my mom was unable to hear anything.

Nice little restaurant for casual dining but upscale menu. I enjoyed the Queso Fundido with beef chorizo since I can't eat pork it was a nice change. Squash salad with cilantro and pepito pesto was very delicious. The chicken special with black beans and slaw was good but one piece of the chicken was undercooked. The slaw was awesome. We ordered wine and were disappointed with the glasses they use. I prefer stemware with my wine. It feels very cheap when it's served...

Excellent night out with two (somewhat) newly relocated NYers. T + P is a go to for this kind of intro and we are never disappointed. Everything was delish - from the fundido to the mesquite grilled chicken special to the Baja shrimp!! We came at 6:30 in a monsoon and stayed nearly till closing as the restaurant wasn't as full as usual and this made it especially fun for us as we were not rushed. Thank you T + P for keeping your standards so high!!
