“First, let me say that these wonderful people (Marlee, Christi, Tara, and the Tucson crew) went above and beyond to help me set up a surprise anniversary meal for my wife. That is just who they are. However, the reason that YOU should go to Sweet Tomatoes is that it IS Sweet Tomatoes. As others have mentioned, we have missed this restaurant since it shut down a few years ago. This Tucson location (the only one currently open in the USA) is perfectly representative of the Sweet Tomatoes that we love and remember. The food is so fresh and delicious. We had such old favorites like Tuna Tarragon and Caesar Asiago Salad. The soups and pasta dishes were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the Roasted Ratatouille Soup and the Coconut Muffins. The atmosphere was excellent as the dining area and serving lines were laid out in the same way as they were back in the day. The staff here are so professional, helpful and friendly. They are the best. If you loved Sweet Tomatoes before, you will be delighted with this Tucson location. Let's hope that they will be opening up in more areas of the USA soon.“

“There were two parts to the show, magic and a murder mystery. The murder mystery was interesting and challenging. The magic was outstanding. I watched carefully and could not see the sleight of hand. The magic show was interactive, and the audience was enthusiastic. A three course dinner was served, chicken masala, a good salad, and creme brule. The liquor price was quite reasonable and the food was very good. I had a very enjoyable evening.“

“First saw Tumerico on Triple D. Visiting Tucson in March…family tried it out…we beeping loved it. I am almost exclusively a carnivore, but I’d eat at Tumerico’s twice a week if I lived here. Absolutely delicious!“

“Service excellent, food inventive, delicious. Dark slick tile floors, unmarked change from floor to a step…there must be a bright reflective tape or paint for more than one site in the restaurant. I was injured falling having not seen nor felt the one step. Management was most solicitous and paid our bill. We would never have asked for this and were surprised and grateful.“

“Fabulous authentic Greek food…… just like my husbands Yia Yia used to make! You’ve got to try out this place. The pastichio was the best I have had in years!“

“Renee's is one of my favorite places to eat. It's comfortable and delicious food - almost “home-cooked” but if your mom was a gourmet chef. I have enjoyed every dish I've ever ordered. The pizza is to die for and the pan seared chicken and tomato cream sauce is a fave. Her chicken Alfredo is some of the best Alfredo sauce and pasta dishes out there. And they have scrumptious vegan and vegetarian options and Zoodles!! Who doesn't love zucchini noddles?!? They do great takeout also but dining in for a quiet intimate dinner is always fun. Make reservations and just take the grownups.“

“First thing I say when we walk in, "OMG this place smells AMAZING!!", and tasted even better! Best falafel and gyro I've ever had!! I like that the falafel is patties instead of balls like most places. It was cooked perfectly..crispy crunchy on the outside, soft and almost cake-like on the inside. You get 4 cakes to the order plus pita bread, cucumbers and tomatoes. The gyro is HUGE!! I couldn't even pick it up to try and eat it until I ate some of the meat out of it, which btw, is flavored so beautifully that you don't really need the tzatziki sauce but definitely worth putting on bc the flavors of both go together so well! I HIGHLY recommend going to Istanbul if you want outstanding Mediterranean food in a good atmosphere! This place definitely get 👍👍 from this food enthusiast!!“

“Pizza perfection. Focaccia remarkable. Salads out of this world. My foodie expert friend says this is the best restaurant in Tucson. My first visit with him was epic so I'll have to ponder this accolade a bit before confirming.....still, I loved every order in our meal of 7 different items. Best: crispy focaccia with extra sausage.

No sign outside or in the window plays to the mysterious. Once you are inside, the peaceful atmosphere and scents from the giant wood pizza stove overwhelm. Have a beautiful meal and try as many menu items as possible. Anello is mighty fine.“

“We came here a couple weeks ago for a double date and had such a great experience! Between the four of us, we sampled several dishes and they were all fantastic. The margherita pizza with lemon parm was incredible, and the mortadella appetizer—oh my gosh, so good! The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the olive oil cake, but that’s just because I’m not a big fan of olive oil desserts. We did have to wait about an hour for a table (around 5 PM on a Saturday), but it was absolutely worth it. We can’t wait to go back!“

“I will say that I always enjoy the delicious food and the great customer service. The prices are by far the cheapest in town and they offer entertainment at the dinner and the gaslight theater shows are a must see. With that said, yes there are some 1 stars on here, but all the 5 stars truly reflect what their business is all about. I highly recommend this diner for date night or a family night out. Experience it yourself. You will glad you did.“
