First time getting carry-out from Charquitas Mexican Food. WOW, what good food! Prepared perfectly and quickly so we could get on our way. The helpings were so generous we had leftovers for dinner tonight. WIN! Only a very short jump off the main road and definately worth it!
Do not use your credit card or debit card place is a fraud I bought 10 worth of food and he billed my card 120 definitely needs to be shut

They are SO rude here! They are also inconsistent with prices. The menu might say $12, but then they tell you $14. But your bank statement says $17. If you bring it up, all they say is, “card price and cash price are different” but it doesn’t matter how you pay. The prices never match advertised menu prices. They are different, even if you order the same thing, and pay the same way. They just randomly charge you, whatever they feel in the moment. And again, if you pay with card, and they tell you $14, and your receipt says $14. Your bank statement will say $17. They refuse to accept accountability, and treat you like you’re being a Karen, just cause you ask why prices are not consistent.

I bought their 5 taco special a couple of months ago, and it was excellent. I went back about a month ago. I gave the young man checking me out tried to short change me. Could have been an honest mistakeWhat disturbed me the most was that the taco meat appeared to contain some kind of filler. Food is good. But if you use your card, they will always charge more, then the receipt says. This is fraud. You think your paying $17, you leave cash in tip jar. But then on your bank statement, you get a charge for $21. So including the cash tip you leave, you end paying $25, for a menu item advertised at $13.99. They ALWAYS do this! The menu prices, and what you pay, never match. And on top of this, they are not consistent with prices. You can order the same thing, 3 times in a row. And pay a different price, each time. Any time you bring it up with them, they are rude, and play it off, like you are crazy. And act like they don't understand, what you are saying. NEVER USE YOUR CARD HERE!

We went to this Food Truck & got burritos here on 8/24/23. Clerk asked if we wanted receipt, which we said yes & was given the receipt. The following week, when checking credit card statement, noticed that charge was more than receipt. Called the phone number on receipt & questioned about difference. Employee stated they were not there then & didn't know why they were different. Asked for the person that does the books. Was told that was Carlos & he would be there Monday 8-5. Asked the employee what I should do if Carlos states he was not there on Sunday when we purchased & wouldn't know why the difference. Employee states he added TIP to receipt as HE NEEDED MORE MONEY. I am curious HOW MANY people do not compare their receipts to charges & HOW MUCH $$$ in TIPS this employee makes. I am also curious as to what this employer pays their employees that would make the employees STEAL tips from credit cards from customers that do not check their receipts. TIPS are voluntary & given for good service. I will NEVER return to this establishment, as this is not good business. My credit card refunded my 'TIP' & Carlos asked what he could give me when I called on Monday. I told him nothing as I am NEVER returning to his business, as he employees a theif. I've eaten there twice now and both main dishes were incredibly bland and flavorless. Worst Mexican food I have had in years. Mexican is known for its flavor! Put some seasoning in those dishes! Gringo Mexican I guess. Had tacos and pollo asada.One thing that WAS quite tasty was the tosito or whatever it was called. Bacon wrapped pepper stuffed with cheese and served with a soy sauce to dip. Yum!
