Delicious Japanese-Korean fusion cuisine with unbelievably large portions and warm service. The veggie box and udon soups are highly recommended. We hope they continue to do amazing work for many years to come!

I have been to Kojan before and I have never recalled having a bad experience from this restaurant. Despite how busy it was when I came to eat and the waiter pointing out the extended time for the food, the service was really great and did not find myself waiting long at all. I had the Tuna Avocado Roll which was fantastic with how fresh and tasty the contents were. I even thought the miso soup was exceptionally great, and even finished the cup with my meal. I also had the Unagi Donburi for my main course and it was perfection. The unagi meat was piquant and succulent, the rice was great and I even like the mango pieces it came with. The service was very considerate, especially during the busy haul. The waiter served whenever I needed it and even replaced my chopsticks when I dropped one of them. The interior design of the restaurant is memorable; it had blossoms hung up and TVs playing Jpop music videos. To start the meal we ordered Takoyaki, hot tea and an Unagi roll. The bonito flakes and chewy octopus were completely outshined by the delicious crispy eel, full flavored and plentiful Unagi. The portions for proteins were exceptional with all the dishes, including the salmon and tuna plate and chicken udon combo. Taking the bell pepper out of the udom bowl made the broth better to us and perhaps broccoli shouldn't be there either. The Miso soup has a fermented bean flavor that is wonderful. We did also enjoy the chilled Sake, kimchi and pickled radish.
Great food and service! Our favourite local spot for sushi.
