On Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, my husband and I celebrated my upcoming birthday with dinner at Happy Lamb, a hotpot restaurant. While enjoying a dish of Mushroom, I initially encountered a crunchy texture in my mouth, which I assumed to be a vegetable or spice. However, my second bite led to discomfort—a sharp, burning sensation on my tongue and gums. Upon inspecting the food, I discovered pieces of glass, one of which was notably large. Despite my mouth being full of food and glass shards, my husband promptly alerted the manager, who swiftly removed the glass. Unable to photograph the incident due to urgency, I rushed to the washroom to ensure my safety, fearing further injury from the glass. Although the restaurant offered a free meal as an apology, they provided no explanation for the incident. Such a situation is highly unacceptable, we left the establishment deeply dissatisfied and concerned.

Things have definitely gotten a tad bit expensive, but it's a decent place. The service is actually nice. Usually in hot pot places I get poor service. But this was good.

Dropped by here for their all-you-can-eat special. Extremely subpar meat and soup quality. Will not be coming back, this place is not worth the long wait.

Today is my first time to eat Happy Lamb. Sister Jun's service is so considerate. It gives us the feeling of going back to our own home to eat. I have to give this service a five-star rating. I hope the manager will praise it. Such excellent staff❤️❤️

Pretty good value at $34.99 for all you can eat hotpot! The soup base is an extra $9.99 for the table to share. There are 2 rounds on the ordering sheet, I'm not sure if that's the limit or if you can ask for a new sheet. Our favourite menu items were the fatty beef and black fish slices! Service was pretty good here. Wyman made it a memorable experience! Complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal is a nice touch. Overall, a pretty decent spot - can get extremely busy!

I like their freshly fried fried dough sticks the most. You need to wait for 20 minutes. If you have a big appetite, you can choose all you can eat. If you don’t eat much like us, you can choose the lunch set. There are many sauces on the sauce table that you can mix yourself. There are also some French fries and shrimps. Slices, fried noodles, kimchi and other side dishes are provided to all you can eat guests. It’s a great place to have a simple meal and chat with friends.Parking: There are free parking spaces in the underground parking lot, but there are not many. There are metered parking spaces on the roadside. The entrance to the underground parking lot is in the alley next to it.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator in the underground parking lot that can go up to the second floor to the restaurant entrance.

The place is convenience, spacious and bright. The service is great, may be I get better service because I speak Chinese. We were there last night and we are a group of 4. The food is abundance because we choose all you can eat. Besides the things we can order from the paper, they also provide some finger food such as spring rolls, french fries and sesame balls at the self service counter which you can create your own sauce. The quality is great. As it was my birthday, I asked if I can get a discount, they told me it is free for me! Yeah...very generous! You just need to show your photo ID. We order the first round and once we finished, we were so full. We didn't even order any starch product such as noodles or rice. Time limit is 2 hrs and at the end, they have special desert which is not on the menu. Yesterday was popsicle. One thing I noticed from yesterday, we should only order the good stuff, such as meat, leave others behind. The reason I said it because they give extra portion for the items we check on the list. eg, luncheon meat, we order 2 pcs, but comes with 8. sweet potatoes, same. As it is all you can eat, we have to finish it everything because any left over over 250g, they will charge you the original price...it is stated in the paper. I also found out they have daytime special. Currently it is 31.99/pp and if it is 11.30-4pm, 25% discount. I recommend this restaurant and will revisit again for sure.
