Enjoyed a quiet breakfast today! Cute little place!

I first came here several years ago for breakfast after walking around the Fraser River area with a group of walkers. As this was located in the Glenlyon Business Park area, it was not a place for me to go often. I remembered the breakfast was quite a big portion and the staff was friendly. Recently I decided to look up this place and see what other food it offers. Besides breakfast, it also serves lunch. As it caters mainly to the people working around this area, it opens and closes early (7 am to 2:30 pm or so). I have managed to drop by during lunch time and maybe due to Covid, I did not see many people like before. You could dine in but most people do take out. I like the daily specials as it was different from the usual burgers and sandwiches on the menu. I have tried the braised chicken with chestnuts on rice and Korean Japchae. Both were really tasty. Priced around $12, it was pretty much in line with everywhere else now. I guess for those who work in this area, it may get boring after a while as it is literally the only cafe around. Other options will require driving out further to Market Crossing or the small food area on the other side of Marine Way/Glenlyon, or maybe even to River District area.

It's a cute cafe located in a business complex. You can't see it from the street, but there is a sign directing you to turn in. There were 3 lunch specials the day that I went: Korean spicy pork, Chow Mein and I think Fried Rice. I had the korean spicy pork with rice. This dish was awesome...there was definitely some spice and a good balance of pork and veggies to rice for just under $12. I would definitely go back to try their other dishes as everything is made to order, so you know its fresh!

Fast, affordable, and very delicious! Had the roast beef panini with yam fries and a coffee. Staff were friendly and attentive, and meals came out in an orderly fashion. Very positive first visit! Look forward to returning!

Run by a crew of amazing staff. Intimate, home-cooked, heartwarming cuisine. Always consistent, always caring. Not about the aesthetics, but the food and intimacy.

I like going here since it is close to work. I like the taste, variety and portions are good for the money. Try it out for lunch if you work nearby!
They are always polite and swift. They always have a different delicious daily special at a good price.
