“Cache Creek had nothing open for dine in after 7 PM so we gave this a try and the best A & W food we have had. The burger had lots of lettuce and everything tasted fresh. The food never looks like advertised food but this was lovely and thick, did not look like it was stepped on like some fast food burgers. Website said it is open 24 hours but we tried drive through at 530 AM and it was not open but counter inside was open.“

“We were coming back from basscoast festival and wanted somewhere to stop half way for something tasty so we went to Ashcroft and randomly found Sam’s diner. It’s a nice diner, very clean and great service. Sam the owner and chef is so lovely. My husband had fish and chips and I had sweet and sour chicken. We were both super happy and had clean plates!The fries are legendary … the other reviews are true. It’s a no frills kind of place but it has a lovely sense of community and does delicious food at a great price!The burgers looked good too!Looking forward to coming back and it might just become an after festival tradition for us.Tell your friends!“
“Stopped in for the first time and was not disappointed. The burger was amazingly delicious. They call it the "basic burger", presumably because of the starter toppings, but there's nothing basic, flavor-wise, about it! Added some cheese and mushrooms and was blown away. Had a side of chicken noodle soup, which is amongst the best I've had anywhere. Highly recommended.“
