one time visit to Steiner, a 30+ year operation, as we left Campbell River on our way north. Delicious looking wide variety of pastries, breads, and cakes. Enticing lunch menu. Also a seating area for sipping and noshing. We chose two large croissants for sandwich making later and a “gotta have it now” apple fritter. I consider myself to be a connoisseur of Apple Fritters, having sampled the vast majority of opportunities in Western Canada. These are the best. Hands down. Not too sweet or greasy, light, large (bigger than my hand), flavourful and cinnamon to apple is pretty close to perfect (I prefer stronger cinnamon but that's for me).Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance, no auto door though.
