“Went for coffee-it was so good-half of us ended up having breakfast!They said best hash browns ever!My scone was yummy and I had a half sweet London Fog-the seating was amazing-the outdoor spots were lovely!Parking: Prob spots for 10 cars or so out front-but the cafe can be accessed by a walking/bike trail so lots of folk won’t need a parking spot.The cafe is along the Ladysmith to Chemainus walking/biking trail that goes by Stocking Creek”

“Small Family-owned Japanese Restaurant [Chemainus BC]Wow! The last review posted was written 5 years ago. They originally offered table service but when Covid hit they only did take out and until now in September 2023 they still only do takeout orders. There are two tables for use in the dining room (good for up to 4 seating each) but there is no dining service available. This is a family-owned business (father-daughter). Friendly daughter who took our orders. We were the first one in when they opened for the day. When we originally came here first on Sunday they were closed. The business is closed on Sundays. Their business hours in Yelp needs updating. Open Mon-Sat 11:00a to 7:00p.I ordered the California Roll Bento Box. What would normally come in a bento box was served in a styrofoam box. It's okay since they are now just take out. Everything was delicious... the beef, salad, tempura except for the California Roll, it was not fresh and the kind you would get premade from a grocery store. The restaurant is located in a small seaside town of Chemainus in the Cowichan Valley in the Vancouver Island in British Columbia.Review #3155”

“got ID’d immediately walking in the door. not a place for minors to get by. (I am of age tho)………? sat down for valentines dinner with my boyfriend . (romantic atmosphere) ? ate chicken Caesar wrap much better than anw i swear. has parmesan and crotons lots of chicken and bacon very flavorful. boyfriend got burger it was mid. getting drinks here is a delight fair prices and tasty. good server not knowledgeable on drink prices but was presently surprised when bill was CHEAPER than quoted. will come again for every valentine’s day for the rest of my life. ?? ❤️??”

“This is funny. Its the second time we went there in 5 yearsish got the same server, and both times, I heard her checking on the other staff to see how they were doing. She is enthusiastic without being overbearing, which is nice. Overall, really sweet lady. Food, i got eggs and sausage, which the sausage here is really good. When it comes to how you like your eggs, i find you have to know your restaurant they all have their own interpretation ?? so this isn't a bad thing. Here, when i ordered over medium, it was more over easy, so if you like your eggs cooked more, just keep that in mind.”

“Love the curry beef but the the old hag working there is horrible, I don't normally leave a tip for pick up orders but I figured the food is good but not again. She has yet to thank me for the tips. I'm not cheap and always give 20%. Never has she thanked me. The woman who retired when covid hit was amazing. “Just went with a group of people (to the Victoria Loacation), I had the Big Kahuna Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had.I was hesitant about the Mango Ketchup but it was tasty.Will definitely go back and try more.Staff was friendly and even gave me a little tutorial on how to eat the burger as it is bigger than normal, the "burger bag" was a game changer.Go there, eat it. “It was a pleasant surprise to find such a nice Indian restuarant in Duncan of all places. Being an Indian, living in Surrey, I generally avoid eating Indian food when I come to the Island. However this time my buddies were craving Indian food, so we decided to give this place a try. Safe to say, this food can put most of the Surrey restaurants to shame! The food was fresh, homely and the staff were friendly. I recommend the goat curry which was really tender and well cooked. The prices were very reasonable too. If you are passing through Duncan, please give this place a try!”

Such a quiet, calm, relaxing atmosphere, well decorated in cafe style with sufficient seating inside & out.An abundance of delicious fresh baked treats, breads, drinks & much more.Quality is superb & pricing is very fair.The gentleman & lady that served me were friendly throughout.This is a must visit if your wandering in town or just want to sip coffee & relax”

“Gluten free household here! We've tried every gluten-free pizza in this town and hands down, this crust was so good, we worried we got the wrong pizza! Created our own BBQ chicken with that garlic pizza sauce ... speechless. Price comparable to anywhere else you'd get a dry, thin, from-frozen GF crust at $26 before taxes and delivery fees. I can only assume it was made from scratch in-house - doughy, soft, crispy, and holds shape even with loaded toppings. Only waited probably half an hour for it to arrive through Door Dash. Y'all doing the Lord's work for Duncan's gluten-sensitive! I'd give it 10 stars if I could - we'll be ordering again for sure!Dietary restrictions: (See above) - gluten-free crust available in 12" size, which is more than enough for two people.”
