Fish and chips- fish was not hot (like warm actually) and the batter was not the beer batter expected. Other two diners felt meh a out their dishes as well. Not complaining as that isn't what matters. The food was a 2+...there's much better food to be had on a 5* scale.
I like Corky’s because it’s 500meters away. The food is wonderful and the service is usually very good especially with Heidi & Niko.? I wish it had more natural lighting via windows along the booths or remove the fireplace that’s never on & create an accordion glass wall that can open up to the patio in different configurations depending on the event/crowd. Corky's is a great little pub, that doesn't have to "sell" you on the Irish part. They have above average food choices, friendly staff, and a really good rotation of entertainment, mostly geared towards the GenX crowd (like me), but with a few surprises thrown in once in a while.They have regular updates on their Facebook page about food and drink specials, and upcoming events.Definitely the place to be on St. Patrick's Day in Chilliwack.?
