After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.”

She doubled checked if there's reso at 715pm. And they didn't, so we got lucky and got a big table for us. Nova was awesome from leading us to the table and gave us some time b4 placing an order. The tablet was informative and easy to place an order. We ordered the 2 person $97 combo and added $5 lettuce. (Which we find that it was not worth it for 4 piece of lettuce) PLUS, we had to order the DUCK... new on the menu. We ordered a lot of food for 2; but we know that we will save this for our lunch next day. The second the order was submitted our sides came out and BBQ dishes, Soy Bean Soup, Rice, and Duck arrived. Nova and staff was always on it and made sure if we had everything. Honestly, we didn't have to wait for anything. As you all know, there's many Korean BBQ restaurants in Coquitlam. We've tried a few, and tbh this is one we would come back to. Good reason for us to go to coquitlam to eat at ToeDam and grocery shop at HMart. MUST TRY and you won't regret it becoz you have Nova and their team. Great reasonable price for two and we will be back for the sous vide duck... Thanks again we will see you again!!!”

I substituted the fries with salad for extra $2.50. They r both pretty good, but is on the expensive side. The fish sandwich, was good wish they put the Cole slaw on the side instead of inside the sandwich. The fish was good except because of the slaw, the fish become soggy and lots.of juice dripping. I have to washed my hand twice . It was quiet on a Sunday night. There was only a few table. The music wasn't too loud. And I like the decoration.”

“It's a decent location, as the service is pretty good. My disappointment is whenever I order and ask for extra, it's not even what it should be, as I have worked fast food. Unfortunately, it's always so light and dry. So I have to ask for extra, extra, extra to get a decent amount of sauce on the meal.

Also, when I ask for extra napkins at this location, notice the plural word, I'll be lucky to get only one more.

When one is driving with food, two napkins doesn't cut it.

Also, napkins are not made by killing a bunch of trees either, that tale is so old. Just give some dang napkins.”

“This most recent visit sparked a memory of McD's of the 90's. My how things have changed. Back then, they had 6 tills open with lineups filling the entire till area. Nowadays, not so much. 1 till open, 4 self entry screens. I like that we can enter our own orders, less entry errors. Self-serve drinks. But even though the customer is doing half the work, the wait time seems longer than back in the day. I'm sure robots will replace all staff one day ?”

“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. This bakery makes everything from scratch and uses quality ingredients ... the only problem is they are a little too close to home....:) I have tried most of the items and have not had one that I don't love....eek”

“I went to the Coquitlam Grill as a last-minute dinner idea since I was already in that area and was glad that I went there. When I arrived, I received a table right away, with the choice of a booth seating or one at the bar. I also saw seating that had small television monitors right up close for you to watch. I took a moment to look at their menu and carefully thought about what I wanted. Even though they serve breakfast all day, I ordered the Oceanic Platter. It came with calamari, a piece of breaded cod, panko shrimps, side of rice, a cup of coleslaw and a trio of dipping sauces that are tartar, tzatziki and chili. The calamari were crispy and well-seasoned to my liking on its own. The cod and shrimp were excellent and had no complaints about them whatsoever. The sauces were exuberant, and I found myself using them with every different seafood that was on my platter. The rice was also great, and I liked the fact that it had green onions on it. The restaurant has this antiquated aesthetic to it with the mild lighting and the bar-like interior design to it, yet a little sophisticated. The staff were very courteous and mindful of my needs. The service was very fast as well when they brought my food out right away. I hope to come back to the Coquitlam Grill very soon. I highly recommend anyone to pay their patronage to this restaurant, whether you in this city or are coming by there.”

“One of the best places around. I had the tomato beef and tendon soup and the pork dumplings. Prices are very fair and what was a shock is that the tip percentage started at 10% which I've never seen in restaurants. That was nice to see they don't force a tip. I gave a 20% tip as the service was reflective of that. I recommend this small place to everyone.”

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.”

“I accidentally ordered from this location thinking that it was the Port Moody location. I called back to let them know before they make it. Unfortunately they had already made it. They took care of the bill and understood that I had made an honest mistake. The manager Micheal was very understanding. It shows how well they take care of their costumers.”

“I had one of the best mool naeng myun I have ever had in the Vancouver area at Cafe SoBahn. It did not have a meat slice, but who cares. The broth was close to perfection. Usually I drown the broth in vinegar and mustard, but not here.

The sign for the restaurant has a very hard to read font, very thin on a white background so it's easy to miss. I missed it. It is definitely more of a cafe than a restaurant, but boy that naeng myun was unbelievable”

I'm still thinking about it. We had the Som Tum, Ginger Shrimp, Drunken Chicken Noodles and the most stunning Tom Kha soup I've had. The flavor profile was so deep and aromatic. Id rate this place with even more stars if I could.”

I was in the area for a ride when I saw this restaurant was open, and decided to pop by for some food. The portions were great for the price and everything tasted amazing!

I ordered their signature clam bibimbap and their deep fried squid and fries. I wasn't too sure how I'd like the bibimbap (because honestly clams are overrated), but I really enjoyed the flavours here. It was even more elevated if you wrap it in seaweed with some side dishes. The squid was perfect as well, and the fries were crispy without being overcooked.

If you have a chance to visit and are craving some Korean cuisine, I would definitely stop by here.”

Today we had a very good dine-in with a very welcoming host team greeting us at the door with a friendly feeling when you first walk in. service was incredibly welcoming including the waitress, Maddy. she was very respectful and making us not feel rushed to order our food and guiding us with every question we had with a genuine answer when ordering.

The fries were delicious as always. and when our waitress had checked in on us she asked if we would like our bottomless re-fill. Not being able to deny as they were so good we said yes. though fries took a bit of time our waitress made it her top priority to make sure we were comfortable and got the re-fill. As we were finishing up our meals Maddy cleared off the table giving us a nice space to sit and talk.

I had the Aglio Olio and it was a 9/10. Free garlic bread and a 25% discount if you follow on Insta. Seoyoung was a great server and was so sweet and helpful.

Some of the employees even go the extra mile to remember regular customer's names and their usual orders. It's such a warm and welcoming feeling when they greet you personally or already know what you had like, especially the one who mostly took my orders always has a very friendly smile and has too much patience while dealing with customers. The Napa cabbage pancake is a rare find in Vancouver. It’s crispy but not greasy, with a fresh sweetness from the cabbage that makes it irresistibly good — you just can’t stop eating it.

The whole calamari is another standout. The batter is light and crisp, pairing perfectly with the tender squid inside, giving each bite a wonderful texture and depth. Once you start, you won’t be able to stop — absolutely a 12/10 recommendation!
