Being a Filipino in Coquitlam, I'm thrilled that this place is conveniently close to my home. My partner and I have been regulars here for 4 months now, ordering two to three times a month, and the meals last for days. Our top pick is the sisig! Additionally, we love the store's ambiance, which beautifully showcases Filipino culture.
For the first time in my life, I experienced Filipino food, and it was unexpectedly delicious??The entire wall on the right side of the entrance is filled with colorful snacks and drinks. The warm yellow chandelier on the counter wears a cute straw hat. This appears to be the only place serving Filipino food in downtown Coquitlam. I started my meal by trying Talong Salad for the first time, it was amazing! The grilled eggplant added a meaty texture to the raw pineapple, tomato, and onions. The grilled squid was good too, but hindsight I should have ordered something else as the flavours overlapped with the salad.
