Speedy service, friendly staff, side dishes are plentiful, and the overall cuisine/bbq is superb! Best Korean cuisine in the lower mainland! Quantity and price are the best in the lower mainland!”
“I went here with my partner for my 32nd birthday! Right from the start, we were greeted warmly and I was excited to tell them it was my birthday and they were happy to have us! Our server was very attentive and kept checking on us regularly! We started off with the Avocado Dip which had incredible flavour plus the added lime finished it off and I actually liked the pico de gallo (I don’t like it usually). I had the Taste of The Tri-Cities taster menu for my main with the Zen Roll (which is one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had), the Steak Frites (the kale salad was refreshing and steak was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned). My partner had the Grilled Dijon Salmon which was my favourite dish of the night! The soy-Dijon butter sauce was delicious and the cut of steelhead was cooked beautifully (I was tempted to trade the rest of my steak for her salmon). I took the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar home with me as well as complimentary New York Cheesecake. We love coming here and this visit was a very memorable one. Thank you for making my birthday a very special one.”

I just want to say that I am one of those who tip, not what they suggest, but according to the service and not the amount, which is what I see. What happened over the weekend when visiting them? In this case, I think the waiter expected much more than what he gave him and his reaction was somewhat rude and he did not hide his anger. It is not an obligation to do so, but they should emphasize that his reactions are not so noticeable. In my opinion, it somewhat tarnishes the excellent service that characterizes them.”

“The food is very close to 'home made' and natural. Tried the pancakes that were thick and kinda on the firm side which tells me it's likely better ingredients used. Options were plenty with their ability to slightly customize their dishes within reason to meet my dietary specifics. Very nice staff but a bit pushy for a Sunday morning where it wasn't packed. Felt a bit rushed. Ambiance was alright but it was the food I went for and I was not disappointed. Kids loved it. Wife liked it. There's more parking at the back.”

Just medium sizes and we couldn't finish because they were yummy and quite hefty. Very good flavors, very fresh veg toppings, and crunch crunch crunch crust that's not burnt. Amiable service, fast turn around of orders, not even 20 mins of chatting. We left full, burping and quite satisfied.Parking: Smallish lot but quite a number of free parking slots. Patio dining is an option. Quiet area.”

“I based my 4 star rating in comparison to other brunch buffets around. This is not the best I've been to, but for value, food quality, services and ambience it's up there. Would definitely return in the future! I enjoyed the waffles, omelette, pasta salad, caprese salad. My SO said the salmon was good. Lots of good dessert options. I wish the juices were labeled, as we ended up having to taste each one to figure out what was what. Half of the restaurant was pretty loud, they had some large groups there, but we were luckily seated in the quiet side.”

When she brought it to the window, I asked why, and she replied, “because it was cold”. I had to tell her I wanted a fresh tea. Literally the antithesis of Tim Hortons slogan “always fresh”. Absolutely bizarre and a complete first.”

“Very good non-Cantonese style Chinese food. This place serves mixed styles of cuisine, and does everything amiably with good authenticity and taste. Their set meals also seem to be a pretty good deal. Definitely want to try everything they have on the menu!”

“Portions are insane, this was a delightful little Korean restaurant to chance upon while in Coquitlam, ordered black bean noodle with the $5 size up and got a massive bowl of black bean noodles for $17 total. Japchae was also quite good, they did not skimp out on ingredients. Will be back with a larger appetite and more friends!”

She is extremely professional, polite and very attentive to her customers. She always makes our visit very special and memorable since I always bring my two elderly parents. The chicken was stale and dry. The batter was coming off in large, hard chunks and the chicken was dry and overcooked on the inside. The flavors in that bowl are something else—rich, comforting broth, perfectly tender chasu, and the tamago was just the right level of runny. You've got to try it with the garlic chips on top; it elevates the whole experience. And a shoutout to Eddy, our waiter, who was super nice and friendly. Just medium sizes and we couldn't finish because they were yummy and quite hefty. Very good flavors, very fresh veg toppings, and crunch crunch crunch crust that's not burnt. Amiable service, fast turn around of orders, not even 20 mins of chatting. We left full, burping and quite satisfied.Parking: Smallish lot but quite a number of free parking slots. Patio dining is an option. Quiet area.”

Just a suggestion that they should display pictures of the food or put their menu on their store front window for display as I notice some people passing by not knowing what they offer as some people don’t know what tonkatsu is. After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.”

“I went here with my partner for my 32nd birthday! Right from the start, we were greeted warmly and I was excited to tell them it was my birthday and they were happy to have us! Our server was very attentive and kept checking on us regularly! We started off with the Avocado Dip which had incredible flavour plus the added lime finished it off and I actually liked the pico de gallo (I don’t like it usually). I had the Taste of The Tri-Cities taster menu for my main with the Zen Roll (which is one of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had), the Steak Frites (the kale salad was refreshing and steak was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned). My partner had the Grilled Dijon Salmon which was my favourite dish of the night! The soy-Dijon butter sauce was delicious and the cut of steelhead was cooked beautifully (I was tempted to trade the rest of my steak for her salmon). I took the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar home with me as well as complimentary New York Cheesecake. We love coming here and this visit was a very memorable one. Thank you for making my birthday a very special one.”

“This is my first time trying Persian cuisine. I ordered the kashk-o-bademjoon (mashed eggplant) and chenjeh kebab, suggested by the waitress. The pita bread basket was cold and oddly enough came with a whole uncut quarter onion. Both the mashed eggplant and kebabs had MASSIVE portions. The eggplants had a very interesting flavour profile which I am not accustomed to. It may take some getting used to it if you never had it before. The kebab was almost the size of my forearm and came with a mountain of rice - easily a meal for 2. It was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The rice was delicious as well but in hindsight I should have gone with half rice and half salad. Definitely an interesting experience at a new cuisine for me.”
