Visited Wild Fig a few times over the past 6 months. Found the service hit and miss based on who was on shift. Always friendly but usually we found there was only one main waitress servicing the entire lounge during happy hour on a weekday which sometimes causes lack of service. Food is tasty with great prices during happy hour 4pm - 6pm. We also tried prime rib Wednesdays special in the winter which was great. Free parking in the attached garage if you list your vehicle info at the Executive Inn front desk. Hotel lobby washrooms were surprisingly clubby with the purple low lights. You will be surprised how you feel transported into a plush-like establishment when you walk into the Wild Fig lounge.

here for buck a shuck and did not disappoint!

The service was fantastic (Jennifer, especially!) Most of the food tasted great. The Yakitori steak was slightly overcooked (I ordered medium rare and it came as medium to medium well). The flavour was still good and it still tasted great, but it was still cooked more than I'd like.

The hotel is very nice inside. The Wild Fig Restaurant has floor to ceiling sheers (drapes) that don't appear that they have been cleaned since being hung up as they were all covered in dust. Furniture is upscale and nice looking and the table cloths are an elegent touch. The service gets a failing grade as it was lacking (longer than usual wait times with hardly anybpatrons at the time) and attention to detail (ie dirty plates not cleared for quite some time with wait staff chatting up a storm with each other by the bar) was disheartening. Overall I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

First time here, we ordered 30 oysters, onion rings, calamari from HH menu, and the sablefish from dinner menu.Taste 0.5/1*All HH menu items were great! Oysters were fresh, I loved the batter on both the calamari and onion rings, though wife found them a bit spicy. As for the sablefish…that was quite the disappointment, especially considering it’s price tag. In my better half’s words ‘this is something I’d make at home’.Also, not sure if this is standard, but sablefish had lots of bones in it still ?Value 0.5/1*HH definitely good value, dinner menu not off to a good startService 0.5/1*Very friendly but the service was a little slow as there was only 1 server 1 manager 1 bartender and well over 10 tablesCleanliness 1/1*No complaintsOverall/Revisit 1/1*Would definitely revisit for HHPaying for ambience? 0/-1*MAYBE for dinner menuAbove and beyond? +1/+1*YES - they were very thoughtful and placed us on the other side of restaurant as we had a stroller, was away from the crowd but still center of all the actionKid-friendliness: Kids of all ages welcomed

We highly recommend The Wild Fig restaurant. Excellent food. Large array of choices on the menu. Moderately priced. The service was excellent. We had a wonderful young lady singing the night we were there. Great voice. We will be going back again.

Food and service was great. Music in the evening was a little too loud to my liking, but some people might like the volume.

What a weird experience. Staff were very blunt and made no attempt to be polite. We felt rushed and dismissed. Waited far too long for drinks. The live music was too loud for the space and the food was just ok.

I based my 4 star rating in comparison to other brunch buffets around. This is not the best I've been to, but for value, food quality, services and ambience it's up there. Would definitely return in the future! I enjoyed the waffles, omelette, pasta salad, caprese salad. My SO said the salmon was good. Lots of good dessert options. I wish the juices were labeled, as we ended up having to taste each one to figure out what was what. Half of the restaurant was pretty loud, they had some large groups there, but we were luckily seated in the quiet side.

We came for happy hour oysters and the service was so great we ended up staying much longer. Our server Jennifer was so efficient and attentive, paying close attention to our questions and really went above and beyond. We have been here several times but this was by far our best experience.

Food took quite a while considering that it wasn't very busy. Took a long time for our server to come around and bring the things we had asked for. But food quality was decent and I appreciate the variety on the Happy Hour menu. A tad on the pricier side considering portion sizes but the buck a shuck is a bonus.

A nice quite restaurant with great food and fantastic staff. The lamb is very good and we tried the chicken which is also very good Value for the money is fantastic. They also have free parking

The Buck A Shuck oysters here during happy hour are awesome! It’s hard to find true buck a shuck these days. The ambience is also very upscale with comfy leather lounge chairs, candlelight’s on the tables, and live music. Service was excellent. The food is more average but overall good. They have great happy hour deals. The oysters and wings were both good. We liked how the wings came with carrots, celery, and ranch sauce. The prime rib sliders were juicy but way oversalted such that the saltiness kinda burned your tongue like a salt rinse, but it was still edible. Likewise, the pork ribs were again very oversalted and dry. The nachos were good but the guacamole and salsa they use is like the premade ones from Costco which don’t taste homemade and are not made from scratch. The drinks were great. It’s a nice place.
