“went tonight pre blazers game. Theo the chef came to our table as we had some changes and requests for our meal. when I say he went above and beyond that is an understatement. One person in our party some Mexican wings and Theo came to the table asked what he was thinking, was told not spicy and not super saucy. Well when I say them wings were da bomb, they were da bomb. Ever wanna try them ask for "the scotty wings". Then Theo came back to see how they were and how my chicken burger with honey galic sauce (recommended from our awesome waitress) which was fantastic and highly recommend. over fantastic food and service and we will be back. Forsure a 5 star!!”

She did a lovely job of going above and beyond and kindly refused when I offered her a small tip saying it “wasn’t necessary”. I will definitely be coming again.”

The only item we were disappointed in was the Sweet&Sour Boneless Chicken.... it was very chewy and very tough - maybe it was an old chicken?. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. “I was very surprised at how clean and safe the play place was at the north shore McDonalds. I was especially happy with the service we got from one of the young girls working there, Bailey. She checked on us in the play place a couple of times, brought us our food and drinks, extra napkins and stuff and she was super sweet with the kids. Bailey gets 5 stars from us!!! Hopefully she is there next time we make it down to that McDonald's Play Place, my 4 year old loved her!

“My friend and I were walking to a place where we were doing a pick up of things through marketplace..and we were not prepared for the heat!?
Or how far we had to walk!!
So..we forgot to bring any extra money as well!!
Needless to say..we were going past the Tim Hortons..and they gave us some water and ice!!

“We were really craving a good soup and not sure what we wanted. I had Jacob's as a saved place to try and so we gave it a go a couple days ago. We had the Seafood Nabe Udon and the Beef Udon. I'm not usually a Udon fan due to some not so good food from a couple places out of town, but this was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back for more, and to try a few more new things! 😊 I highly recommend checking them out and trying them for yourself.”

These two young fellows were courteous, friendly, fast and fun to be served by. Had my rootbeer in the frosty mug in seconds and food delivered to my table with all the condiments in minutes. Food was hot and good and filling. Today was definitely a 10 out of 5 for these enthusiastic young fellows. Thank you A&W.!!!!!”

“I was having a super rough morning as a patient at RIH, and when I was finally able to have a bit of breakfast, the gentleman working there made me the best latte I swear I ever had! Not a huge coffee fan but this was the perfect little pick-me up, so smooth and creamy, perfect art on top, best flavor of coffee and not too sweet. All I remember from the man is that he had a tattoo on lower leg. Thank you so much, you made my day!”

Unfortunately my friend could not make it so I was ready to turn around and leave but a lovely waitress was so welcoming and sweet I decided to go ahead and have a lunch by myself. I had a hunter schnitzel with Iron Road locomotive followed by New York cherry cheesecake with a blue raspberry Margarita. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious and the portions were truly generous. However the main highlight of my visit was the service. My waitress Daisy (the same wonderful lady that greeted me and kept checking on me) was absolutely delightful, very attentive and efficient. Her professionalism is fully matched by her knowledge of the menu and beautiful personality. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and plan of returning very soon. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, in spite of its inauspicious setting, tucked away in the corner of the Prestige hotel. Some of the trappings are a bit tired, but the atmosphere is created more by the people who serve and the attention to detail and decor. It may not have an 'ultra-modern' feel, but neither, therefore, is it cold and sterile. It feels familial and even joyful!
