“went tonight pre blazers game. Theo the chef came to our table as we had some changes and requests for our meal. when I say he went above and beyond that is an understatement. One person in our party some Mexican wings and Theo came to the table asked what he was thinking, was told not spicy and not super saucy. Well when I say them wings were da bomb, they were da bomb. Ever wanna try them ask for "the scotty wings". Then Theo came back to see how they were and how my chicken burger with honey galic sauce (recommended from our awesome waitress) which was fantastic and highly recommend. over fantastic food and service and we will be back. Forsure a 5 star!!”

“My experience at the Amsterdam Restaurant was terrific. This restaurant is not hard to miss since it is located right next to the Trans-Canada highway in Kamloops. My first time there, I had the Advocaat Belgian Waffle with coffee. The waffle was amazing; topped with vanilla ice cream, egg liquor, pecans, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar while the waffle itself was warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. The coffee was great as well. I highly recommend Amsterdam to anyone who happens to come by the restaurant.”

“My partner and I went to your restaurant last Saturday for the first time after hearing so many great reviews from friends and family. We had pasta, and I took a slice of cheesecake home to try. Amazing!!! Would consider this one of our newest favourite restaurants in Kamloops”

“First time visiting The Cutting Board. I was extremely impressed with the atmosphere and that they are strictly Gluten free! Haven’t eaten out anywhere in a long time as a celiac. All the treats looked delicious in the cabinet and let me tell you the food coming from the kitchen looked absolutely yummy! Didn’t know they served breakfast and lunch. Will be back for sure. Bought the sampler pack of dessert squares. The lady at the counter was friendly & helpful and the chef took time to chat with me as well Thank you! Linda”

“Food was great. Had a salad with chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Came in and dined alone, was expecting a more friendly and attentive server. One of the girls at the front realized I wasn’t being cared for, and Abbie (Abby? Abi?) gladly grabbed me cutlery, refilled my water as well as checked on how my food tasted, etc. without me having to ask. She did a lovely job of going above and beyond and kindly refused when I offered her a small tip saying it “wasn’t necessary”. I will definitely be coming again.”

“In October 2025, we settled in Westsyde. Craving a good Chinese meal, we researched restaurants in the area. As we did that, a commercial for Bamboo Inn popped up on CFJC. We went online and found their menu.
The staff were friendly and efficient in taking my order for pick up. The food was ready very quickly.
Once home, we found the portions were large and the quality excellent. Several orders later, we are still enjoying the food and service every time.”

“OJs in Kamloops is an amazing place to drop in with family and friends for fast and delicious food. When the weather is warm like it is now in June, sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy the spectacular view! A big shout out to our amazing waitress Heather who was absolutely pleasant and attentive to our dining experience. Cheers to the kitchen staff for creating such delicious food for us to enjoy and my favorite is the lettuce wrap...so, so good!”

“If you're looking for great Chinese food in Kamloops, I highly recommend Shanghai Mandarin Restaurant.

The food was excellent with amazing flavor, generous portions, and fresh vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and wasn't greasy like you sometimes get at other places. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided great service.

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Kamloops, and I'll definitely be back!”

“I’ve visited countless coffee shops because I love working out of cafés—it’s a great way to get out of the house. But I drive 30 minutes to this Tim Hortons, and it’s absolutely worth it. This place is simply the best.
The owner doesn’t just run the store—they genuinely connect with people, noticing when regulars return and taking the time to say thank you. Every team member seems genuinely happy to be there, working well together and creating a welcoming environment.
Accessibility is also top-notch—I’ve visited in a wheelchair and with a prosthetic leg, and it’s never been an issue. Even more impressive, the staff remember my coffee order, which is incredible for a café that likely serves hundreds of drinks daily.
It’s clear that when the owner leads with heart, the team reflects those values. I can’t recommend this Tim Hortons highly enough. I visit many coffee shops, but I’ve never had an experience like this. Truly exceptional.”

I'm not usually a Udon fan due to some not so good food from a couple places out of town, but this was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back for more, and to try a few more new things! 😊 I highly recommend checking them out and trying them for yourself.”

My brother in law wanted to take his mother out for an enjoyable Mother's Day gift and we decided to come by Mary Browns quickly to grab a Marys Big Bite, Mary's Mashup, Two Spicy Mini Mary's and Biscuit which only came to twenty five dollars but we were told it would take twenty minutes for a small order which we expected was because of the busy time.

After twenty minutes people had come in to order after us and still got their food first. So my brother in laws mother went up to see when our food would be ready and mentioned it would be twenty minutes maximum but it had been well over twenty minutes.

This front desk customer service employee was extremely unprofessional and rude to her, saying they were working on it right now.

After being short with her, I went up to ask for the manager to which I was replied to that there was no manager on site. Then I decided to leave this review.

“Kamloops has a lot of places where you can order sub-par lasagna. Fortunately, Farros is not one of them. Ordered the baked lasagna yesterday for delivery. Finally not disappointed! Lasagna the way it should be - tasty, lots of sauce and lots of cheese. Most definitely will order again.”
