Did someone say Schnitzel!?Okay, this isn't your typical Wiener Schnitzel you'd get at a German/Austrian/Swiss Restaurant. It's Chicken Schnitzel and it's in a sandwich, but it's pretty good albeit it a bit thin. Served simply with mayo and cheese, it still hits the spot. I suppose lettuce or tomato would take away from the schnitzel!My husband got the European Donair which he was pleasantly surprised by the sauce, the pickled cabbage (or was it onions...) and the roast beef....read full review
What a gem! Stopped in to pick up charcuterie for lunch and loved the selection. They let you try before you buy, as well, which really helped us make some decisions. The service was spectacular, and we will definitely come back annually (girls trip)

We had a wonderful late lunch at Helmut's in Vernon. The sandwiches and soup were delicious and home-made. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. After lunch we spent about $75 in the deli and had some of the best meats, sausage rolls and pepperoni sticks we've ever had! My only complaint is that they're so far away from where we live! Five BIG stars to Helmut's!
