“Great experience! Our server Noah was outstanding, he was very professional, informative, and attentive. Good overall energy from the entire team at JOEY's Kelowna. Noah recommended we come and try the restaurant and he recommended the Blackened Chicken for my husband and the Crusted Salmon for myself, both incredible meals! We will be back!“
“My mom is a regular customer to Abaco Health and when I come to visit her, I always make a trip in too. Both my mom and I have been helped by Gabby who is incredibly knowledgeable and will take the time to hear your concerns, offer various options for supplement support. Gabby has helped not only my mom with her concerns, but helped my mom find support for my dad who was in early stages of Alzheimer's before he died. She has helped me with my liver and adrenal concerns and my twin sons with ADHD, autism and anxiety supplement support. It is so nice to feel that someone really listens rather than just tries to "sell" you something. Thank you, Gabby!“
“This is a wonderful place serving up amazing Cuban food. The beef here is soft, tender and packed with flavour. The people working here are nice kind and easy going. The lighting and atmosphere is bright and inviting. The Cubano Sando is huge and the restaurant helped me even recreate a dish I had many years ago. This kind of level to making the guest feel welcome and satisfied was on a level not normally seen in Kelowna. I will say the dishes were on the higher side of price, but the flavours were huge and tasty. I imagine the cost reflects the rent of this prime location. Live music on the weekends and dancing under the disco ball. Go here for breakfast and enjoy one the the best cups of coffee you are gonna find in the area. This is a must try and return spot“
“So I was stumbling around Kelowna in the cold on Thanksgiving. Nothing was open, what was open was busy, everything was frustrating. I popped out of the hotel to try and find breakfast and stumbled across this tea shop. Normally tea shops are super frustrating for me. I went inside to find something to warm up my hands and not expecting much. I didn't know what I wanted. I can't drink caffeine. Dairy is not good to me. It smelled amazing inside. The person behind the counter was doing something with their loose-leaf containers of tea, and instead of trying to parse out the list of available teas I just said "that smells great, is there something like that ... but with no caffeine ... and no dairy?" Somehow, a couple questions about my preferences later, I ended up with the perfect mouth-bitingly spicy (I think market spice cashew?) latte to wander back out into the cold with. It's been years since I've had such an easy, satisfying experience at a tea or coffee place with all my food limitations. Here I was welcomed, presented with a ton of options, and had some nice relaxed time to chat about cycling as the tea steeped. 11/10, customer service and product, this place is almost worth moving cities for. Luckily for me, they ship!“
“We visited today for lunch and had great service! We were seated right away and we promptly ordered drinks and received fresh warm bread. We all had the steak sandwich and when one of them wasn’t cooked to our liking they took it back to make it right. When we received the new steak it still wasn’t cooked right, the server Bryan checked in and noticed it immediately and told us he’d take it off our bill as the rest of us were done eating, he offered us a free dessert and when we declined he surprised us with $25 off our next visit. Thank you so much for the great service! We will be back!“
“One of the best kept secrets in town! It was busier than I've ever experienced probably because it was Valentines Day. Still the staff and students kept up with the pace. Well done! Parking situation was different. Never had a parking ticket in the evening , but they were issuing them last night, so be prepared to pay for parking!“
“Nice surprise to find a homey Japanese restaurant here in West Kelowna. my wife and I both got bentos to sample as much as possible w/out over-stuffing ourselves. the kid got a couple rolls and we shared an Agedashi tofu.the nigiri seemed fresh for what we were expecting, HUGE BONUS! my only complaint (and a minor one at that) would be that the tempura seemed a bit over done (color and slightly greasy). the tofu however was pretty good as was everything else we had. oh... large bottles of the beer would be nice too. came back with the wife for sushi and maki rolls before headed back to California and definitely a nice find. the tempura was better this time so maybe just a bad fried food night the last time. fish was fresh and portions are decent sized for the quality. minor complaint is that all the Asian restaurants we've been to up here seem to use breast meat for everything chicken. makes certain stir fries and definitely the chicken karaage much less yummy. ah well.“
“My partner ordered my birthday cake from here and it was AMAZING! Honestly, probably the best cake I’ve ever had (& I’m a new celiac)!Do yourself a favour and order a chocolate cake with caramel filling and cream cheese icing and you will be in heaven. We ate it for breakfast the next day too… & we did not let a crumb to go to waste.THANK YOU ❤️“
“This place. Where to even begin. Their food is second to none. Great location if you live where I live. What can I say, I like a sandwich for lunch on occasion, and this is where I go. The staff are very friendly and fun to discuss any number of topics with. The food is a delectable treat that doesn't leave you feeling bad after.“
“We had a wonderful late lunch at Helmut's in Vernon. The sandwiches and soup were delicious and home-made. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. After lunch we spent about $75 in the deli and had some of the best meats, sausage rolls and pepperoni sticks we've ever had! My only complaint is that they're so far away from where we live! Five BIG stars to Helmut's!“
“Just ate here for the first time, I had such a tough time choosing what to eat the menu was fantastic, well priced, and the list of beer and wine and cocktails was extensive and the best price for craft beer like fat tugbthat I have seen in Kelowna! $6 pint of driftwood beer!!!!! Homemade lamb burger was amazing. Tuna poke bowl looked equally amazing as did the clubhouse that looked like homemade roast turkey sliced on it! Highly recommend this place it is my new lower mission hangout!“
“Delightful lowkey spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I usually stick to savoury and umami dishes but decided to try something different. Such a treat!Vegetarian options: There are three vegan options and many vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Plenty of rook for a stroller and they have high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating and washroom“
“Had some amazing baked treats at a local coffee. When we found out that Big Fat Lion made them and they were not that far away we had to stop by. If you are looking for absolutely delicious Gluten-free baked good Big Fat Lion is the place. Highly recommendDietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“Very sigma, My homie Justin Lu was very kind and recommended black boba in my mango drink. We sat down and talked about life for 20 minutes. Anybody who says it’s less than 5 stars is trippin. Drinks were good and cookie was just as good.“
“Wonderful time. Great service good quality food and drinks. The steak was a bit tough for the price but cooked medium as requested. The carpaccio and salsa and chips were very good . The lemongrass med bowl was very good, but the chicken was on the small side. The alcohol free cocktails were very cool ! Deserts were very good the chocolate cake is quite large ! All in all a good time was had.“
“I liked hot stoned bibimbap and spicy soon doo boo(spicy tofu soup). It was my favorite two among four menus, me and my parents ordered, 2 hot stoned bibimbap, bulgogi stew and spicy tofu soup. It was my birthday, and I was happy to spend my birthday with my family with delicious food!! Spicy tofu stew, you should order it right now!!! ??“
“Gluten-free real crab California rolls!! As a Celiac-challenged restaurant-goer, it's really hard to find GF sushi in Kelowna. Bluetail Sushi on Spall has been my go-to since moving here. The GF real crab Cali rolls are fresh, delicious, and imho, a decent portion size! They're aware of Celiac requirements and offer GF soy sauce. I def recommend!“
“Sugar Sweet Cake Company did a beautiful and amazing job for our vow renewals. The cake design perfectly matched our Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter theme, and we received a ton of compliments on how delicious our cake and tarts were from our guests. Our wedding cake was carrot flavored and it was the best carrot cake I have ever had. She also worked well with our decorator and planner. Thank you for making our day special.“
“Let me start with the service. Khalen. Absolutely amazing. Engaging, attentive, personable. Our party was of 18, he became a friend and a welcome addition to our conversation. An absolute joy and pleasure to have spent time with this man in every way shape and form. He alone, would be worth coming back the restaurant just for the interaction. I can't say enough good things. The menu is fresh, vibrant... it's well thought out by individuals that truly have a passion for what they do.To take classics like a aranchini, or a simple caesar salad and do them so well they stand alone as a show piece is a statement unto itself... but the real volume and depth come in the simpler things that might be taken for granted. Fresh made pizza dough, wood fired to perfection. An infusion of oils found into drizzles that add depth and complexity through subtlety. The little details done so right, they could be forgotten through the tapestry of such a cohesive and brilliant plating. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd happily give the Curious Cafe an 11, and will definitely be back, if for nothing more than a slice of amazing pizza and Khalens company.“
“The food is amazing. I just wish they would still serve flatbread, greek salad and tzatziki with the meals. We paid $65 for two meals and were disappointed in the portion size and the fact there wasn't any salad or tzatziki sauce. With the price hike, I was expecting the same or better than before.“
“I love to stop by Marmalade Cat for a Matcha and a breakfast burrito, so I was pleasantly surprised today when I found out that they are now making homemade salsa!! The flavour is amazing, and such a huge upgrade to the old salsa. The staff was warm and friendly too! It’s the little things that take a good experience and make it great! Thanks so much, I’ll be back again soon! As a vegetarian who is always trying out breakfast wraps around town, I think this one is one of the best!“
“We love their food! We decided to grab a celiac safe GF quick dinner and a treat for my 4 kids. it is their fav place! I double checked to make sure it was open earlier in the day. We were instore making our choices at 405pm, after picking delicious donuts to be told we cannot have any wraps or bagels due to the sandwich press being turned off an hour before closing. I even asked for just plain bagels w/butter and nope. We went their specifically for an on the go dinner. We are a celiac family and cant just go anywhere for food. If i would have known no actual food (other then treats) is available after 4 pm i would have packed dinner like i usually do between the kids after school activities. So be warned don't expect warm food after 4pm even though they don't close till 5pm. I had some pretty sad kids well until they had a donut for dinner lol.“
“I decided to come try it after seeing the reviews online. It did not disappoint! I ordered 2 pieces Cod. It definitely wasn’t cheap - but it was delicious! Their fish was a good thickness and crunchy! Fries were delicious too! I could not finish all the fries.I came for a late lunch so there was only 1 other table. Server was nice and friendly - my baby was sleeping in the car so I asked how long it would take. I was surprised she was able to tell me 7 minutes! I went out to check on my child after paying for take out. My baby had woken up so I decided to dine in instead. She was very accommodating!I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!“
“Mad Mango never fails to deliver exceptionally tasting food at very reasonable prices. They understand the balance between price and quantity (and quality) and are able to thrive while other downtown establishments seem to struggle to retain customers. It's nice to see a small locally owned restaurant survive for 20 years and counting. I hope they can make it work for another 20.“
“We really enjoyed our meal at Pho Soc. The spring rolls were excellent. I am a big Pho fan and was not disappointed. My Pho had lots of meat and noodles, the broth was very good. The stir fry and vermicelli bowl my fellow diners ordered were also excellent. Service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend Pho Sco Trang for Vietnamese cuisine.“
“I don't get to come to Formosa unless I'm in Kelowna, but you can bet your bottom I'll come here if I'm coming to or through town. Haven't had a bobba that wasn't revolutionary. The staff is great with explaning all the possible combinations and flavors they have. You won't be disappointed with whatever you order!!“
“If you are looking for the best place to eat in Kelowna, La Bussola is the place. The quality of ingredients, and care taken by the owner/chef to prepare each dish was perfect. Every bite was flavorful and melt in your mouth. The service was impeccable, with excellent wine pairing with food recommendations, and a pleasure to chat with the servers. Will definitely be back when I'm in Kelowna again.“
“super clean and welcoming atmosphere! big space, comfy seating with music and tvs. very polite staff and great costumer service. they even serve poutines. 10/10Parking: good parking around 7pm, not too busy for dinnerKid-friendliness: good kids menu“
“Seen some other reviews that weren't super positive but came here based on a lot of Reddit recommendations and I'm so glad we did. They make their own noodles and the food here is REALLY good and very well priced for the size you get. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.“
“We had a fantastic experience with Cupcasions. Their staff gave us the best advice on what to order for our wedding, and suggested ways we could save by ordering our own cake topper and cupcake wrappers separately. Everybody loved the flavours of cupcakes and cakes, which were delivered promptly, and beautifully arranged by Cupcasions at the location of our wedding lunch reception. We would definitely order from them again! Thank you, Cupcasions for making our wedding reception extra special!“
“— Was in Kelowna for a little & came here based on a friend’s recommendation. I want to give a SPECIAL shoutout to “HARPREET”?for making our Dine-In experience truly memorable. The wait (without a reservation) was shorter than expected. The service was OUTSTANDING✨. We had 2 people with allergies & the server was so knowledgeable about every ingredient in every dish. Her recommendations were PERFECT. From appetizers to entrees, there was something for every palate. Last but not the least, everything was 10 ON 10❤️?. Will be returning next time I’m in time for SURE!?“
“This is a great place for breakfast, lunch and morning and afternoon snacks. The Grilled Three Cheese with cheddar, Swiss, and Havarti cheeses, tomatoes, Arugula and herb mayonnaise on grilled sour dough is delicious! There is also a great kids menu and gelato. While you're there pick up a loaf of bread or a jar of homemade jam!We visited and dined-in three days in a row and will be back!“
“Good service from Kat. Good menu items. Good "house" pizza, $3 off on Thursday. View of ice rink from bar / grill. Very dark warehouse atmosphere with lots of TV's to watch sports.Parking: Shared parking with ice rink next door.“
“Thanks to the fantastic Team at Villages, Sunday August 28th evening. The pizza was some of the best we've had in a long time. So much flavor, right down to the dough. Exceptional! And the Team working that night were fantastic, supplying plates, napkins without us even asking. Everything needed for dinner on the beach. Thanks, we will be back again - and will spread the word!“
“Stopped in on a wim and we were pleasantly suprised! We got the BLTA and the chicken pesto panini with the Thai chicken soup and it was amazing. Atmosphere was very cozy and quaint. Everything tastes very home made. We will absolutely be back!“
“Pretty decent place to watch a sporting event or enjoy drinks with friends. Does get busy often though. Drink prices and selection is reasonable. Food is decent but nothing amazing and fairly highly priced for what you get, but not horribly so.“
“Here's another pizza place. They have lots of choices on the menu. Dine in or take out. They have a menu you can see online. Hawaiian and Meat lovers combo is pretty good. Located on the 1500 block of Ellis. This restaurant does deliver.“
“Congratulations to Specialty Bakery, Hollywood Kewlona and especially to Shelly. My family and I called in late in the day on 14th June. Shelly went to the trouble of heating up some pies (which incidentally were great) and accommodating us all. She was welcoming, friendly and a marvelous asset to any business or employer. Nothing was too much trouble. As a result we bought more pastries to take home - the Kewlona donut - highly recommended! We are tourists from Australia so this gave us a wonderful impression of the customer service provided in Canada and in particular at the bakery. Thanks so much Shelly, Speciality Bakery is fortunate to have you on their staff.“
“I came on here to leave a bad review. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very chill. I've come here now twice in two days to study over lunch. The meals aren't exactly cheap but they are big and top quality, like a good Edo japan minus the sushi.I asked for a glass a water and they said all they had was the bottle. I expressed that it was a surprise and sat down to write a review "quitely".I was thinking yk, mcdonalds gives water for free and this meal cost more.(Maybe old prices at mcdicks)But as I whip out my phone the young lady ran from the back wutb a cup and some water.10/10 would recommend.(I'd go out of my way for the lunch)“
“Absolutely love their pad Thai. And their spice level is on point! If you like spice and a lot of flavor, I would highly recommend this place. The staff is also also very friendly and courteous. my wife got a meal that was a little bit too spicy for her taste, and brought out a whole new meal without the spice.“
“Theeeee best! Croissants made with real butter you can taste! Chocolate croissants taste like Nutella! wonderful amazing stafff and soooo many more yummy options. They are my most favourite place for GF gluten free options as well. Sven and his team will serve you up the best sourdough. Located near airport and new location in west kelowna.“
