The Luxe is one of the only (if not the only) places to find authentic Cantonese style Chinese food. Prices are high but the food is absolutely worth it. Growing up with a Chinese mother I had the privilege to eat at some great Chinese restaurants in Richmond and Vancouver and the Luxe is the only place in the area that compares to those restaurants.
I have to say today was a disappointing dining experience. There were 5 of us, tried the crab meat fish belly soup, two sea food base dishes, one meat appetizer, and the spicy beef with vermicelli.The appetizer was ok, not fantastic but at least the presentation was standard.The crab soup tho, appearance was honestly unappealing. Food and service was great. We were seated near the door, during a cold day. Got a rush of cold air ever time a customer opened the door. Would suggest asking for a table away from the door. Food tasted great. Staff were attentive.
